Abstract
A transportable breakwater construction block factory contained within an ISO-shipping container and transportable along shorelines where marine construction sites extend. The transportable breakwater construction block factory comprising a plurality of multi-form block molding subsystems, having base mold portions mechanically coupled to the factory floor, and side molding portions being mechanically coupled, so that all or multiple groups of side mold portions (for the construction blocks and the matching shear key blocks) can be simultaneously lifted (e.g. by a hydraulic crane on site) to remove the side mold portions from the casted concrete blocks.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A transportable breakwater construction block factory system comprising:
a plurality of ISO-shipping containers, each said ISO-shipping container being storable at a warehouse and having GPS-tracking while dispatching and shipment via rail, air, roadway or sea to a remote work site location, near an oceanfront or coastal shoreline, for in situ manufacturing of breakwater construction block systems; wherein each said breakwater construction block system constructed in situ includes a plurality of breakwater construction blocks, and a plurality of trapezoidal-like interlocking shear key blocks, interconnecting said breakwater construction blocks, so as to form an erosion-control structure along said oceanfront or coastal shoreline, in a loosely constructed manner so as to withstand forces of water waves impacting said erosion-control structure.
2 . The transportable breakwater construction block factory system of claim 1 ,
wherein said plurality of breakwater construction blocks are formed from concrete material, and after cured, are arranged closely together with a selected inter-spacing between said neighboring breakwater construction blocks so as to provide multiple sets of neighboring breakwater construction blocks, and wherein said plurality of trapezoidal-like interlocking shear key blocks are formed from concrete, and after cured, are configured to link said multiple sets of neighboring breakwater construction blocks loosely together.
3 . The transportable breakwater construction block factory system of claim 1 , wherein each said ISO-shipping container comprises a factory platform adapted for sliding out and being removed from said ISO-shipping container while supporting a set of molding forms configurable together for the purpose of molding the molding surfaces of different kinds of breakwater construction blocks and trapezoidal-like interlocking shear key blocks, and
a set of multiple attachments and filler segments configurable within said molding forms t for the purpose of molding certain molding surfaces of different kinds of breakwater construction blocks and said trapezoidal-like interlocking shear key blocks.
4 . The transportable breakwater construction block factory system of claim 1 , wherein each said ISO-shipping container comprises a factory platform supporting a plurality of multi-form block molding subsystems, having base mold portions mechanically coupled to said platform, and side molding portions being mechanically coupled so that all or multiple groups of side mold portions for said breakwater construction blocks and the trapezoidal-like interlocking shear-key blocks can be simultaneously lifted to remove the side mold portions from the caste blocks.
5 . A transportable breakwater construction block factory comprising:
an ISO-shipping container transportable along a shorelines where marine construction sites extend; a block factory platform storable in said ISO-shipping container and removable during block molding operations; wherein said block factory platform supports a plurality of multi-form block molding subsystems; wherein each said multi-form block molding subsystem includes base mold portions mechanically coupled to said block factory platform, for molding breakwater construction blocks and trapezoidal-like interlocking shear key blocks for use in constructing erosion-prevention structures along said shorelines.
6 . The A transportable breakwater construction block factory system of claim 5 , which further comprises:
one or more hydraulically-powered cranes, concrete mixers and other equipment arranged about a breakwater construction block factory platform temporarily set up at a construction work site where said breakwater construction blocks and trapezoidal-like interlocking shear key blocks are being manufactured using multi-form block molding technology, and when cured, these blocks can be assembled to construct the any system design under construction along said shoreline.
7 . A transportable breakwater construction block manufacturing system comprising:
an ISO-shipping container containing a plurality of multi-form block molding subsystems for simultaneously molding break water construction blocks, and a plurality of block molding subsystems for molding trapezoidal-like interlocking shear key blocks, wherein each molding subsystem has a base mold portion that is mechanically coupled to the factory floor, and a side molding portion being mechanically coupled with a movable framework, operated manually or using hydraulics, so that all or multiple groups of side mold portions for said breakwater construction blocks and said trapezoidal-like interlocking shear-key blocks can be lifted on site, and the side mold portions removed from molded concrete blocks; and wherein top mold portions, and fillers, and attachments used to mold block surfaces and features adapted for modifying said breakwater construction blocks and said trapezoidal-like shear key block molds so as to realize the required design features in the concrete blocks to be manufactured.Cited by (0)
