         2 . The downhole tool of claim 1 , wherein a depth of the inner circumferential groove is about 0.25 inches.

         3 . The downhole tool of claim 1 , wherein at least one of the first slip and the second slip are made of composite material.

         4 . The downhole tool of claim 3 , wherein at least one of the first slip and the second slip comprise a band therearound, the band configured to maintain position of the respective slip.

         5 . The downhole tool of claim 3 , the downhole tool further comprising a deformable member configured to be responsive to a pump down fluid.

         6 . The downhole tool of claim 3 , wherein each of the first slip and the second slip comprise a one-piece configuration, and wherein the lower sleeve is configured with sleeve threads that are coupled with the first set of threads.

         7 . The downhole tool of claim 1 , wherein the lower sleeve is configured to maintain break symmetry of the first slip, and wherein the bearing plate is proximate the second slip.

         8 . The downhole tool of claim 1 , wherein the lower sleeve is configured with an at least one outer tapered surface.

         9 . A downhole tool for use in a wellbore, the downhole tool comprising:
 a mandrel made of composite material, the mandrel further comprising:
 a proximate end having a first outer diameter;
 a distal end comprising a first set of threads and a second outer diameter;
 an angled outer linear transition surface therebetween; and
 an inner flowbore extending from the proximate end to the distal end,
 wherein the first outer diameter is larger than the second outer diameter;
   a bearing plate disposed around the mandrel, the bearing plate comprising an inner plate surface configured for engagement with the angled outer linear transition surface; a first slip disposed around the mandrel; a second slip disposed around the mandrel; a seal element disposed around the mandrel, and between the first slip and the second slip, the seal element further comprising:
 an inner circumferential groove; and
 a seal element outer surface configured with an at least one angled surface;
   a lower sleeve disposed around the mandrel at the distal end, and threadingly engaged with the first set of threads.

         10 . The downhole tool of claim 9 , the downhole tool further comprising: a first cone proximate the first slip; and a second cone proximate the second slip,
       wherein the lower sleeve is configured with a lateral hole with an at least one anchor pin disposed therein, the at least one anchor pin being proximately engaged with the distal end.

         11 . The downhole tool of claim 10 , wherein a depth of the inner circumferential groove is about 0.25 inches.

         12 . The downhole tool of claim 11 , wherein at least one of the first slip and the second slip are made of composite material.
