Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for production of continuous cell lines comprising providing living cells of an animal or a human, irradiating said cells with UV light, proliferating said cells and selecting multiplying cells as cells of a continuous cell line.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 2 . (canceled)
3 . An immortalized avian non-genetically manipulated embryonic cell line, wherein the cell line is adapted to proliferating after at least 20 passages.
4 . The immortalized avian embryonic cell line of claim 3 , wherein the cell line is capable of growth in serum free media.
5 . The immortalized avian embryonic cell line of claim 3 , wherein the cells are grown in suspension.
6 . The immortalized avian embryonic cell line of claim 3 , wherein the cells adhere to a surface during growth.
7 . The immortalized avian embryonic cell line of claim 3 , wherein the cells are quail embryonic cells.
8 . The immortalized avian embryonic cell line of claim 3 , wherein the cells are chicken embryonic cells.
9 . The immortalized avian embryonic cell line of claim 3 , wherein the cell line includes machinery for the propagation of a virus, wherein the machinery comprises nucleic acid encoding a recombinant gene product of a virus, promoters for expression in the cell, and selection markers.
10 . The immortalized avian embryonic cell line of claim 9 , wherein cell line includes the machinery for the propagation of influenza virus.
11 . The immortalized avian embryonic cell line of claim 9 , wherein cell line includes the machinery for the propagation of influenza A virus.
12 . The immortalized avian embryonic cell line of claim 9 , wherein the cell line includes machinery for the propagation of New Caledonia virus.
13 . The immortalized avian embryonic cell line of claim 9 , wherein the cell line includes machinery for the propagation of recombinant influenza A and B viruses and vectors.
14 . The immortalized avian embryonic cell line of claim 9 , where in the cell line includes machinery for the propagation of Modified Ankara Vaccinia (MVA) vector.
15 . The immortalized avian embryonic cell line of claim 9 , where in the cell line includes machinery for the propagation of recombinant Modified Ankara Vaccinia vector.
16 . The immortalized avian embryonic cell line of claim 9 , where in the cell line includes machinery for the propagation of a virus from a group consisting of pox viruses, coronaviruses, or flaviviruses.
17 . The immortalized avian embryonic cell line of claim 9 , wherein the cell line includes a nucleic acid encoding a gene of interest.Cited by (0)
