Racer Back Ring
Abstract
A racer back ring is an apparatus that converts a traditional bra with a couple of bra straps into a racerback bra. The traditional bra includes a couple of straps that are parallel to each other, whereas the racerback bra includes a point of connection between the couple of straps. In order to convert the parallel orientation of the couple of straps of a traditional bra into an X-shaped orientation, the apparatus includes a left curved arm, a right curved arm, and a connecting bar. The left curved arm secures a left bra strap around the connecting bar. The right curved arm secures a right bra strap around the connecting bar. The connecting bar connects the left curved arm to the right curved arm. The apparatus preferably includes a first rounded protrusion in order to alleviate the pressure of the apparatus against the back of the user.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A racer back ring comprises:
a left curved arm; a right curved arm; a connecting bar; the left curved arm being fixed to the connecting bar; the right curved arm being fixed to the connecting bar, opposite the left curved arm; a first arm end of the left curved arm being positioned offset from a first arm end of the right curved arm by a top slot; a second arm end of the left curved arm being positioned offset from a second arm end of the right curved arm by a bottom slot.
2 . The racer back ring as claimed in claim 1 comprises:
the connecting bar being positioned equidistant between the top slot and the bottom slot.
3 . The racer back ring as claimed in claim 1 comprises:
the top slot being positioned perpendicular to the connecting bar.
4 . The racer back ring as claimed in claim 1 comprises:
the bottom slot being positioned perpendicular to the connecting bar.
5 . The racer back ring as claimed in claim 1 comprises:
the left curved arm comprises a first arched portion and a second arched portion;
the first arched portion and the second arched portion being radially portioned around a midpoint of the connecting bar;
the first arched portion being positioned adjacent to a left bar end of the connecting bar; and
the second arched portion being positioned adjacent to the left bar end of the connecting bar, opposite to the first arched portion.
6 . The racer back ring as claimed in claim 1 comprises:
the right curved arm comprises a first arched portion and a second arched portion;
the first arched portion and the second arched portion being radially portioned around a midpoint of the connecting bar;
the first arched portion being positioned adjacent to a right bar end of the connecting bar;
the second arched portion being positioned adjacent to the right bar end of the connecting bar, opposite to the first arched portion.
7 . The racer back ring as claimed in claim 1 comprises:
a first rounded protrusion; and
the first rounded protrusion being coextensively mounted across the left curved arm, the right curved arm, and the connecting bar.
8 . The racer back ring as claimed in claim 7 comprises:
a second rounded protrusion; and
the second rounded protrusion being coextensively mounted across the left curved arm, the right curved arm, and the connecting bar, opposite to the first rounded protrusion.
9 . The racer back ring as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the left curved arm, the right curved arm, and the connecting bar is made of stainless steel 316L.
10 . The racer back ring as claimed in claim 1 comprises:
a circular profile being delineated by the left curved arm and the right curved arm;
a ratio between a diameter of the circular profile and a width of the connecting bar being approximately 3:20;
a ratio between a diameter of the circular profile and a width of the left curved arm being approximately 2:20; and
