Facial recognition and video analysis tool
Abstract
Embodiments disclosed herein may be directed to a video communication server. In some embodiments, the video communication server includes: at least one memory including instructions; and at least one processing device configured for executing the instructions, wherein the instructions cause the at least one processing device to perform the operations of: determining a time duration of a video communication connection between a first user of a first user device and a second user of a second user device; analyzing video content transmitted between the first user device and the second user device; determining at least one gesture of at least one of the first user and the second user based on analyzing the video content; and generating a compatibility score of the first user and the second user based at least in part on the determined time duration and the at least one determined gesture.

11 . A video communication system comprising:
at least one memory comprising instructions; and at least one processing device configured for executing the instructions, wherein the instructions cause the at least one processing device to perform operations of: determining, using a communication unit comprised in the at least one processing device, a video communication connection associated with a first user of a first user device, the video communication connection associated with a time duration; analyzing, using a graphical processing unit (GPU) comprised in the at least one processing device, video content of the first user of the first user device; determining, based on analyzing the video content of the first user of the first user device, at least one gesture of the first user; comparing the at least one gesture to a flagged gesture accessed from a database; and determining at least a partial match between the at least one gesture and the flagged gesture; and in response to determining the at least the partial match between the at least one gesture and the flagged gesture, implementing a safety protocol for the video content of the first user of the first user device, wherein the time duration of the video communication connection comprises a time duration of the at least one gesture.
12 . The video communication system of claim 11 , wherein the at least one gesture comprises at least one of a visual gesture or a vocal gesture.
13 . The video communication system of claim 11 , wherein the at least one gesture comprises or is associated with an emotion or a mood.
14 . The video communication system of claim 11 , wherein implementing the safety protocol comprises modifying the video content of the first user of the first user device prior to display, on a second user device, of the video content of the first user of the first user device.
15 . The video communication system of claim 11 , wherein implementing the safety protocol comprises suspending, for an amount of time, the video communication connection, or terminating the video communication connection.
16 . The video communication system of claim 11 , wherein at least one of: the video content comprises real-time video content, the time duration of the video communication connection comprises a partial time duration of the video communication connection, or the video communication system is comprised in the first user device or located remotely from the first user device.
17 . A method comprising:
determining, using a communication unit comprised in at least one processing device, a video communication connection associated with a first user of a first user device, the video communication connection being associated with a time duration; analyzing, using a graphical processing unit (GPU) comprised in the at least one processing device, video content of the first user of the first user device; determining, based on analyzing the video content of the first user of the first user device, at least one mood of the first user; and generating, using a reporting unit comprised in the least one processing device, data for the first user based at least in part on the video communication connection or the video content of the first user of the first user device, and the at least one determined mood, wherein the time duration of the video communication connection comprises a time duration of the at least one determined mood.
18 . The method of claim 17 , wherein the at least one determined mood is associated with or comprises a visual gesture.
19 . The method of claim 17 , wherein the at least one determined mood is associated with or comprises a vocal gesture.
20 . The method of claim 17 , wherein the at least one determined mood is associated with or comprises an emotion.
21 . The method of claim 17 , wherein the at least one determined mood is associated with or comprises a facial expression.
22 . The method of claim 17 , wherein the at least one determined mood is associated with or comprises at least one of a facial feature, a facial gesture, a vocal inflection, a vocal pitch shift, a change in word delivery speed, a keyword, an ambient noise or an environment noise.
23 . The method of claim 17 , wherein at least one of: the video content comprises real-time video content, the time duration of the video communication connection comprises a partial time duration of the video communication connection, or the at least one processing device is comprised in the first user device or located remotely from the first user device.
24 . A method comprising:
determining, using a communication unit comprised in at least one processing device, a video communication connection associated with a first user of a first user device, the video communication connection being associated with a time duration; analyzing, using a graphical processing unit (GPU) comprised in the at least one processing device, video content of the first user of the first user device; determining, based on analyzing the video content of the first user of the first user device, at least one user identification feature or gesture of the first user; comparing the at least one user identification feature or gesture to a second user identification feature or gesture of the first user; and in response to determining at least a partial match between the at least one user identification feature or gesture and the second user identification feature or gesture, enabling the first user device to perform one or more actions associated with the first user device or associated with one or more applications executable on the first user device, wherein the time duration of the video communication connection comprises a time duration of the at least one user identification feature or gesture.
25 . The method of claim 24 , wherein enabling the first user device to perform one or more actions associated with the first user device or associated with one or more applications being executed on the first user device comprises authenticating the first user to the first user device or to the one or more applications executable on the first user device.
26 . The method of claim 24 , wherein the at least one user identification feature or gesture comprises a visual feature or gesture.
27 . The method of claim 24 , wherein the at least one user identification feature or gesture comprises a facial feature or gesture.
28 . The method of claim 24 , wherein the at least one user identification feature or gesture comprises both a visual gesture or feature, and a vocal gesture or feature.
29 . The method of claim 24 , wherein the at least one user identification feature or gesture comprises at least one of a vocal feature, a vocal gesture, a vocal inflection, a vocal pitch, or a word delivery speed.
30 . The method of claim 24 , wherein at least one of: the video content comprises real-time video content, the time duration of the video communication connection comprises a partial time duration of the video communication connection, the second user identification feature or gesture is accessible from a database, or the at least one processing device is comprised in the first user device or located remotely from the first user device.Cited by (0)
