Abstract
A touch free automatic faucet is provided. The faucet includes a faucet housing including many sensors for controlling water flow and water temperature. A processor is connected to the sensors. A first control valve assembly is connected to the processor. A second control valve assembly is connected to the processor. A power source is connected to the processor, the first control valve assembly and the second control valve assembly. Water flow and water temperature are controlled by the sensors without touching of the faucet housing.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 .- 40 . (canceled)
41 . A touch-free faucet comprising:
a housing comprising a first touch-free sensor and a light emitting diode (LED); a spout; a water flow control valve; wherein said first touch-free sensor is configured to trigger a hardware processor using a first trigger signal to activate a water flow control valve to initiate water flow through a spout of the faucet; and wherein the hardware processor is programmed to:
operate a timer that automatically shuts off water flow through the spout of the faucet after a predetermined time limit;
detect a low battery condition and cause the LED to blink in response to the low battery condition, wherein the LED is positioned inside the housing in proximity with an infrared transmitter of the first touch-free sensor.
42 . The touch-free faucet of claim 41 , wherein the predetermined time limit is received as an input from a user.
43 . The touch-free faucet of claim 41 , further comprising a second touch-free sensor configured to trigger a hardware processor using a second trigger signal to activate the water flow control valve to initiate a continuous water flow through the spout of the faucet.
44 . The touch-free faucet of claim 43 , wherein the hardware processor is further programmed to pause the first touch-free sensor based on a pause signal received from the first touch-free sensor or the second touch-free sensor.
45 . The touch-free faucet of claim 41 , wherein said hardware processor comprises a microchip.
46 . The touch-free faucet of claim 41 , wherein said hardware processor is further programmed to activate a predetermined operation of the touch-free faucet based on a comparison of a time characteristic of the first trigger signal.Cited by (0)
