Abstract

A press (1) for the extrusion of non-ferrous metal section bars comprising a shear (2), an adjustment mechanism of the shear (3) and a matrix. Said shear (2) is adapted to perform both horizontal and vertical movements of the press (1) to adjust the correct distance between a blade (21) of the shear (2) and the matrix (11) of the press (1).

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A press for the extrusion of a non-ferrous metal section bar comprising a shear, an adjustment mechanism of the shear and a matrix, wherein the shear comprises
a blade and a slide blade holder suitable for sliding vertically within guides of the press, a shearing actuator suitable for adjusting the vertical movements of the shear and a linear transducer suitable for controlling the position of the shearing actuator, the adjustment mechanism of the shear comprises a motor suitable for adjusting the distance between the blade and the matrix before the start of an extrusion process and to block the distance by means of a cylinder lock, and a removal actuator is suitable for moving away the shear from the matrix after shearing.

2 . The press according to claim 1 , wherein the adjustment mechanism of the shear comprises at least a worm screw connected to the motor, by at least a nut screw and at least one adjusting slide plate-.

3 . The press according to claim 1 , wherein the adjustment mechanism of the shear is connected to the shear by means of a structure.

4 . The press according to claim 1 , wherein the motor is an electric motor comprising an encoder for detecting the position of the blade.

5 . A shear for extrusion presses, wherein
the shear comprises a blade and a slide blade holder for sliding vertically within guides of a press, a shearing actuator for adjusting the vertical movements of the shear and a linear transducer for controlling the position of the shearing actuator, an adjustment mechanism of the shear comprises a motor for adjusting the distance between the blade and a matrix before the start of a process of extrusion and to block the distance by means of a cylinder lock, and a removal actuator for moving away the shear from the matrix of the press after shearing.

6 . The shear for extrusion presses, wherein
the shear comprises a blade and a slide blade holder for sliding vertically within guides of a press, a shearing actuator for adjusting the vertical movements of the shear and a linear transducer for controlling the position of the shearing actuator, an adjustment mechanism of the shear comprises a motor for adjusting the distance between the blade and a matrix before the start of a process of extrusion and to block the distance by means of a cylinder lock, and a removal actuator for moving away the shear from the matrix of the press after shearing, and the shear is according to claim 2 .

7 . A method for the removal of a terminal part of a billet into an extrusion press, wherein a first step for adjusting the distance between a shear and a matrix is
moving the shear vertically up to the height of the matrix of the press, horizontally moving the shear up to which a blade of the shear comes into contact with the matrix of the press, removing the blade of the shear from the matrix of the press for a given distance, recording the distance between the blade and the matrix, vertically moving the shear for the removal of the terminal part of an extruded billet, moving horizontally the shear by means of a removal actuator to move away the blade of the shear, vertically moving the shear to return to a starting position, and horizontally moving the shear to return it to the recorded distance between the matrix and the blade.

8 . The method according to claim 7 , wherein the adjustment of the distance between the blade of the shear and the matrix of the press comprises the following steps:
actuating a motor integral with a worm screw connected with a nut screw, horizontally moving the nut screw positioned on at least one adjusting slide plate, horizontally moving a structure integral with the shear and the nut screw, and blocking the at least one adjusting slide plate with a cylinder lock.

9 . The method according to claim 7 , wherein the distance between the blade of the shear and the matrix is 0.5-3 tenths of a millimeter.
