Abstract
An applicator tip includes a sleeve and an application portion, extending along a main longitudinal extension direction, referred to as the main direction, between a first end referred to as the proximal end and a second end referred to as the distal end. The application portion includes first and a second application zones and a means of articulation intended to articulate the two application zones between them. The means of articulation separates the first and second application zones by forming at least one reservoir of cosmetic product between said first and second application zones.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWe claim:
1 . An applicator tip adapted for the application of a cosmetic product on the lips and/or the skin of a user, said tip comprising:
a sleeve and an application portion, said sleeve being adapted for assembly with a rod of which at least one of the distal ends is hollow, said application portion extending along a main longitudinal extension direction between a first end referred to as the proximal end and a second, distal end, said sleeve extending from the proximal end of the application portion along said main longitudinal extension direction in a direction opposite to that which points to the second, distal end of the application portion, the application portion comprising:
a first and a second application zones, and
means of articulation of said two application zones,
wherein, the sleeve and said first application zone are integral, said second application zone being linked to the first application zone by the intermediary of said means of articulation, said means of articulation allowing a rocking movement of the second application zone with respect to the first application zone on either side of a plane of symmetry of the applicator tip, said plane of symmetry being defined by two axes, X and Y, of an orthonormed coordinate system X, Y, Z of which the direction X is confounded with the main longitudinal extension direction, and a separation by the means of articulation of the first and second application zones by forming at least one reservoir of cosmetic product between said first and second application zones.
2 . The applicator tip of claim 1 , wherein the first and second application zones are zones with which the user applies the cosmetic product on the lips, eyelashes, eyebrows and/or nails.
3 . The applicator tip of claim 1 , wherein the rocking movement is carried out around a direction of which at least one of the components is confounded with the axis X.
4 . The applicator tip of claim 3 , wherein the orthogonal projection of said reservoir in the plane of symmetry has a curved shape generated by a parametric curve in the plane of symmetry.
5 . The applicator tip of claim 1 , wherein the means of articulation is a strip of material of which the thickness measured along an axis Z of the orthonormed coordinate system X, Y, Z is of about a millimetre.
6 . The applicator tip of claim 1 , wherein the means of articulation is presented as a plurality of bridges of material connecting the first and second application zones in a finite number of points, the application portion having, between said first and second application zones, a hole allowing the user to see through the application portion.
7 . The applicator tip of claim 1 , wherein the application zones are flocked and/or carry a material on their surface, said material providing a surface condition of which the roughness is modified with respect to that of the application zones taken bare.
8 . The applicator tip of claim 1 , wherein the sleeve, the first application zone, the second application zone and the means of articulation are moulded together, preferably in a single material.
9 . The applicator tip of claim 3 , wherein, when the sleeve is assembled to said rod, said manipulation rod of said applicator tip, the portion in the vicinity of the proximal end of the application portion, then confounded with the vicinity of the hollow distal end of said manipulation rod, is a portion on which the cosmetic product is not or is hardly embedded after an immersion of said applicator tip in a receptacle of cosmetic product, while said reservoir is a portion in which the cosmetic product is embedded in a larger quantity after a said immersion.
10 . An applicator assembly comprising a receptacle adapted to receive a viscous, pastry or liquid cosmetic product, said receptacle comprising an opening designed to cooperate with a closing cap, said closing cap being linked to a manipulation rod of an applicator tip, the applicator tip comprising:
a sleeve and an application portion, said sleeve being adapted for assembly with the manipulation rod of which at least one of the distal ends is hollow, said application portion extending along a main longitudinal extension direction between a first end referred to as the proximal end and a second, distal end, said sleeve extending from the proximal end of the application portion along said main longitudinal extension direction in a direction opposite to that which points to the second, distal end of the application portion, the application portion comprising:
a first and a second application zones, and
means of articulation of said two application zones,
wherein, the sleeve and said first application zone are integral, said second application zone being linked to the first application zone by the intermediary of said means of articulation, said means of articulation allowing a rocking movement of the second application zone with respect to the first application zone on either side of a plane of symmetry of the applicator tip, said plane of symmetry being defined by two axes, X and Y, of an orthonormed coordinate system X, Y, Z of which the direction X is confounded with the main longitudinal extension direction, and a separation by the means of articulation of the first and second application zones by forming at least one reservoir of cosmetic product between said first and second application zones.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
