Marble table top

Abstract

A marble table top includes a table frame and a marble table board. Atop surface of the table frame is formed with a recess. The marble table board is fitted in the recess of the table frame. The thickness of the marble table board is equal to the depth of the recess. The marble table top employs the table frame and the marble table board to mate with each other. The table frame is provided with the recess to mate with the marble table board so that the marble table board can be made as thin as possible. The sides and the bottom surface of the marble table board are covered by the table frame. The top surface of the marble table board is designed to maintain an elegant and beautiful appearance.

1 : A marble table top, comprising: a table frame and a marble table board fitted to the table frame, a top surface of the table frame being formed with a recess, the marble table board being fitted in the recess of the table frame, a top surface of the marble table board being flush with the top surface of the table frame;
 wherein the table frame is mounted to a table stand and comprises a bottom board and a side board erecting from and extending along a circumference of the bottom board so that the bottom board and the side board collectively define the recess; and   wherein the marble table is received in the recess and a bottom of the marble table is supported by the bottom board of the table frame such that the bottom and lateral sides of the marble table are respectively covered and protected by the bottom board and the side board of the table frame.   
     
     
         2 : The marble table top as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the table frame has one of a square shape, a round shape and an oval shape. 
     
     
         3 : The marble table top as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein the recess of the table frame has one of a square shape, a round shape and an oval shape, and the marble table board corresponds in shape to the recess. 
     
     
         4 : The marble table top as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein a bottom surface of the marble table board is fixedly connected with a backing plate. 
     
     
         5 : The marble table top as claimed in  claim 4 , wherein the backing plate is a tile or a support frame fixed to the bottom surface of the marble table board. 
     
     
         6 : The marble table top as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the table stand to which the table frame is mounted comprises a foldable table stand.
