Abstract

The present disclosure generally relates to pharmaceutical corticosteroid compositions, and methods of making the same.

         36 . A topical pharmaceutical composition comprising:
 a mixture of solvent components, comprising propylene glycol monocaprylate and propylene glycol in a ratio from 90:10 to 25:75; and   a triamcinolone at 0.01% w/w to 1.0% w/w of the pharmaceutical composition,   wherein the triamcinolone is dissolved in the solvent mixture at 1.15% w/w to 1.60% w/w of the solvent mixture.   
     
     
         37 . The topical pharmaceutical composition of  claim 36 , wherein the concentration of the triamcinolone dissolved in the solvent mixture is from 1.25% w/w to 1.60% w/w of the solvent mixture. 
     
     
         38 . The topical pharmaceutical composition of  claim 36 , wherein the concentration of the triamcinolone dissolved in the solvent mixture is from 1.5% w/w to 1.60% w/w of the solvent mixture. 
     
     
         39 . The topical pharmaceutical composition of  claim 36 , wherein the ratio of propylene glycol monocaprylate to propylene glycol is 90:10 to 50:50. 
     
     
         40 . The topical pharmaceutical composition of  claim 36 , wherein the ratio of propylene glycol monocaprylate to propylene glycol is 75:25 to 25:75. 
     
     
         41 . The topical pharmaceutical composition of  claim 36 , wherein the triamcinolone is at 0.05% w/w to 1.0% w/w of the pharmaceutical composition. 
     
     
         42 . The topical pharmaceutical composition of  claim 36 , wherein the triamcinolone is at 0.1% w/w to 1.0% w/w of the pharmaceutical composition. 
     
     
         43 . The topical pharmaceutical composition of  claim 36 , wherein the triamcinolone is at 0.01% w/w to 0.5% w/w of the pharmaceutical composition. 
     
     
         44 . The topical pharmaceutical composition of  claim 36 , further comprising at least one humectant selected from fructose, glycerol, lactic acid, sorbitan, sorbitol, tetraethylene glycol, triethylene glycol, and vitamin B. 
     
     
         45 . The topical pharmaceutical composition of  claim 36 , wherein the triamcinolone is triamcinolone acetonide. 
     
     
         46 . The topical pharmaceutical composition of  claim 36 , wherein the topical formulation is a foam.

         48 . A topical pharmaceutical composition comprising:
 a mixture of solvent components, comprising propylene glycol monocaprylate, propylene glycol and ethoxydiglycol, wherein the propylene glycol monocaprylate and propylene glycol are in a ratio from 90:10 to 25:75; and a triamcinolone at 0.01% w/w to 1.0% w/w of the pharmaceutical composition,   wherein the triamcinolone is dissolved in the solvent mixture at 2.00% w/w to 2.45% w/w of the solvent mixture.   
     
     
         49 . The topical pharmaceutical composition of  claim 48 , wherein the concentration of the triamcinolone dissolved in the solvent mixture is from 2.30% w/w to 2.45% w/w of the solvent mixture. 
     
     
         50 . The topical pharmaceutical composition of  claim 48 , wherein the ratio of ethoxydiglycol to the total of propylene glycol monocaprylate and propylene glycol is 1:1. 
     
     
         51 . The topical pharmaceutical composition of  claim 48 , wherein the triamcinolone is at 0.05% w/w to 1.0% w/w of the pharmaceutical composition. 
     
     
         52 . The topical pharmaceutical composition of  claim 48 , wherein the triamcinolone is at 0.1% w/w to 0.5% w/w of the pharmaceutical composition.
