Patient pants for excretion
Abstract
A kind of pants has a U-shaped opening across an adjacent edge of two connecting leg portions, a pair of front suspenders arranged at a front of the pants as each suspender connecting to a front passage, a pair or rear suspenders arranged at a rear of the pants as each suspender connecting to a rear passage, a water proof anti-splash cover partially sewn on the pants and covering a front end of the U-shaped opening, a displaceable covering piece arranged under the U-shaped opening with a pair of bands passing through the front passages to be fixed on the front suspenders and with a pair of strips passing through the rear passages and a pair of guiding rings to be fixed on the rear suspenders. Thereby the displaceable covering piece allows those who have to sit on a wheelchair most of the time to perform excretion right on the wheelchair with their pants on.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . Patient pants comprising:
a pair of pants having a waist portion linking with two symmetrical leg portions and a U-shaped opening perpendicularly arranged across an adjacent edge of the leg portions; a pair of front suspenders arranged at a front of the waist portion with each suspender having a front positioning hole and a pair of rear suspenders arranged at a rear of the waist portion with each suspender having a rear positioning hole and passing through a guiding ring; two front passages arranged correspondingly for the front suspenders to individually pass through, each passage having an upper end sewn on the pants and a lower end arranged near the U-shaped opening without sewing, making it partially detachable; two rear passages sewn on the pants correspondingly for the rear suspenders to individually pass through; an anti-splash cover in an arc shape having a first end sewn on the pants and a second end arranged at a front of the U-shaped opening without sewing, making it partially detachable; a displaceable covering piece arranged under the U-shaped opening correspondingly, having a front end thereof connecting to a pair of bands, each band having a free end individually passing through the front passage on the same side and fixed on the front suspender on the same side, and a rear end thereof connecting to a pair of strips, each strip having a free end individually passing through the rear passage and guiding ring on the same side and then being upwardly positioned to each side; and two pads made of soft materials with ventilation sewn on a position corresponding to buttocks of human body and arranged across the covering piece, forming a space between the pads; whereby when pulling the strips backwards, the covering piece would displace backwards and uncover the U-shaped opening for a user to perform excretion; when loosening the strips, the covering piece would displace back to an original position and cover the U-shaped opening.
2 . The patient pants as claimed in claim 1 , wherein each front suspender further includes a tri-glide buckle for the free end of the band on the same side to pass through for positioning and adjustment.
3 . The patient pants as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the front and rear positioning holes are buttonholes.
4 . The patient pants as claimed in claim 1 , wherein each of the strips further has its free end passing through a binder clip, said binder clips being fixed on a positioning piece by a pair of hook-and-loop fasteners or two corresponding buttonholes to be arranged at corresponding sides of the pants, and each binder clip further including a triangular resilient body with a through hole arranged on a flat bottom surface thereof for one of the strips to pass through and to be positioned thereby, and two handles correspondingly arranged at an outer side of the resilient body to loosen the spring force on the strip and form an opening when the handles are compressed.Cited by (0)
