Data storage and retrieval

Abstract

A method for data forwarding storage and retrieval in a network of interconnected computer system nodes may include directing data to a computer memory, continuously forwarding the data, from one computer memory to anther computer memory in the network of interconnected computer system nodes without storing on any physical storage device in the network, and retrieving the data in response to an activity.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A method comprising:
 without storing a data item on any fixed storage medium in a network of interconnected computer system nodes, the data item identified for constant routing within the network from node to node, the data item associated with a user account,   receiving, at a first node in the network, the data item;   receiving user account information based on the user account;   determining an address of a second node in the network available to receive the at least one data item based on the user account information; and   forwarding the data item to the second node in the network without storing the forwarded at least one data item on any fixed storage medium.
