Abstract

A strap device and method is disclosed herein. The strap device includes providing a device comprising a strap, four connectors connected to the strap and a location indicator connected to the strap. The disclosed further describes joining of two or more travel containers using the device. Finally, the disclosed describes triggering the location indicator. The strap device is useful for consolidating and identifying travel containers.

What is claimed is new and desired to be protected by Letters Patent is set forth in the appended claims: 
     
         1 . A strap device comprising:
 a strap including a material;   four connectors connected to the strap;   and a location indicator connected to the strap.   
     
     
         2 . The strap device of  claim 1  wherein the material has a high contrast or high visibility. 
     
     
         3 . The strap device of  claim 2  wherein the connectors are snaps and two of the connectors are disposed near an end of the strap, one of the connectors is disposed near another end of the strap, and one of the connectors is disposed near the middle of the strap. 
     
     
         4 . The strap device of  claim 3  wherein the strap is 1.5 inches wide and 14 inches long. 
     
     
         5 . The strap device of  claim 4  wherein the location indicator is an electronic indicator. 
     
     
         6 . The strap device of  claim 5  wherein the electronic indicator is any one or any combination of a transceiver; a transmitter; a receiver; an LED; a speaker; a siren; and a light. 
     
     
         7 . The strap device of  claim 1  wherein the location indicator is an electronic indicator. 
     
     
         8 . The strap device of  claim 7  wherein the electronic indicator is any one or any combination of a transceiver; a transmitter; a receiver; an LED; a speaker; a siren; and a light. 
     
     
         9 . The strap device of  claim 8  wherein the connectors are snaps and two of the connectors are disposed near an end of the strap, one of the connectors is disposed near another end of the strap, and one of the connectors is disposed near the middle of the strap. 
     
     
         10 . A method comprising supplying the strap device of  claim 9 . 
     
     
         11 . The method of  claim 10  further comprising joining two or more travel containers using the strap device. 
     
     
         12 . The method of  claim 11  further comprising triggering the location indicator. 
     
     
         13 . The method of  claim 12  wherein the travel containers are any one or any combination of luggage, a backpack, a briefcase, and a computer case. 
     
     
         14 . A method comprising supplying the strap device of  claim 6 . 
     
     
         15 . The method of  claim 14  further comprising joining two or more travel containers using the strap device. 
     
     
         16 . The method of  claim 15  further comprising triggering the location indicator. 
     
     
         17 . The method of  claim 16  wherein the travel containers are any one or any combination of luggage, a backpack, a briefcase, and a computer case. 
     
     
         18 . A method comprising supplying the strap device of  claim 4 . 
     
     
         19 . The method of  claim 18  further comprising joining two or more travel containers using the strap device. 
     
     
         20 . The method of  claim 19  wherein the travel containers are any one or any combination of luggage, a backpack, a briefcase, and a computer case.
