Image display control device and image forming apparatus including the image display control device

Abstract

An image forming apparatus includes a control unit equipped with a touch panel display and a control unit-side controller. The control unit includes multiple image display modes supporting functions of editing image data. The control unit side controller includes an image display mode selecting function which, when the user selects a desired function, selects an image display mode that is most suitable for the user's desired function, from the multiple image display modes, in accordance with the user' s control operation of selecting a function and displays a frame corresponding to the selected image display mode, on the touch panel display.

         2 . An image display control device comprising:
 a display portion that displays an image; and   multiple image display modes, wherein   the display portion displays among the multiple image display modes an image display mode that is suitable for a user's desired function for editing image data in accordance with control operation of a user to the display portion.   
     
     
         3 . The image display control device according to  claim 2 , wherein
 the user's control operation to the display portion is a touch operation to an image displayed on the display portion or an operation to a function key displayed on the display portion.   
     
     
         4 . The image display control device according to  claim 2 , wherein
 an image display mode corresponded to a layout of the image displayed on the display portion is selected, when the display portion displays the image display mode that is suitable for the user's desired function for editing the image data, the selected image display mode is displayed on the display portion.   
     
     
         5 . An image display control method, comprising:
 displaying an image on a display portion; and   displaying an image display mode that is suitable for the user's desired function for editing the image data among multiple image display modes in accordance with the user's control operation to the display portion.   
     
     
         6 . An image forming apparatus comprising:
 the image display control device according to  claim 2 ; and,   an image forming portion that forms the image on a recording medium.
