Abstract

A strap system for a motorcycle helmet that includes: a first earflap on the helmet; a second earflap on the helmet, where the second earflap includes a receiving ring; a chin strap extending from the first earflap; a pair of hook and loop connectors on the chin strap; and a securing button at one end of the chin strap. The second earflap includes an opening adapted to receive the chin strap, where the receiving ring is a D-ring.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A strap system for a motorcycle helmet comprising:
 a. a first earflap on the helmet;   b. a second earflap on the helmet, where the second earflap includes a receiving ring;   c. a chin strap extending from the first earflap;   d. a pair of hook and loop connectors on the chin strap; and   e. a securing button at one end of the chin strap.   
     
     
         2 . The strap system according to  claim 1 , where the second earflap include an opening adapted to receive the chin strap. 
     
     
         3 . The strap system according to  claim 1 , where the receiving ring is a D-ring.
