Abstract

Disclosed is a Social-Topical Adaptive Networking (STAN) system that can inform users of cross-correlations between currently focused-upon topic or other nodes in a corresponding topic or other data-objects organizing space maintained by the system and various social entities monitored by the system. More specifically, one of the cross-correlations may be as between the top N now-hottest topics being focused-upon by a first social entity and the amounts of focus ‘heat’ that other social entities (e.g., friends and family) are casting on the same topics (or other subregions of other cognitive attention receiving spaces) in a relevant time period.

1 - 130 : (canceled)

         131 : A contextually-sensitive, user-servicing machine system comprising
 a plurality of operatively interconnected processors configured to: (a) automatically repeatedly collect from respective users of the machine system, respective state indicating records of the respective users, where the collected state indicating records indicate at least one of:
 (a.1) a recent or current state of the respective user or a recent or current change of state of the first user;
 (a.2) an expected recent or current state of the first user based on recorded habits and/or routines of the respective user and/or associated likes and dislikes associated with the recorded habits and/or routines; and
 (a.3) an expected recent or current social dynamics state of the respective user based on recorded likely social dynamics states of the respective user and/or associated likes and dislikes of the recorded likely social dynamics states;
   (b) automatically repeatedly determine one or more likely current or recent contextual states of the respective user and/or of one or more currently active profiles of the respective user based on the collecting of the respective state indicating records of the respective users; and (c) automatically repeatedly determine one or more likely to be currently welcomed or desired-by-the-respective user of servicings or tools or offerings or suggestions to be provided to the respective user based on the determining of the one or more likely current or recent contextual states of the respective user and/or of the determining of the one or more currently active profiles of the respective user.

         132 : The machine system of claim 131 wherein the likely to be currently welcomed or desired-by-the-respective user servicings or tools or offerings or suggestions to be made to the respective user include at least one of:
 (c.1) suggestions of topics and/or forums to be investigated by the first user;
 (c.2) suggestions of keywords and/or other cognition-representing expressions to be investigated by the first user;
 (c.3) suggestions of nodes or subregions within corresponding cognition-representing spaces to be investigated by the first user;
 (c.4) suggestions of resources identified within nodes or subregions of corresponding cognition-representing spaces where the suggested resources are to be investigated by the first user;
 (c.5) suggestions of individual users or groups of users for the first user to make contact with;
 (c.6) suggestions of events the first user may desire to participate in;
 (c.7) suggestions of connection and/or transport resources that may be used by the first user for participating in the suggested one or more of the events to participate in and make the contacts to be made with the individual users or groups of users;
 (c.8) suggestions of time slots within which the first user is likely to be able to participate in the suggested one or more of the events to participate in and make the contacts to be made with the individual users or groups of users;
 (c.9) information about current contextual states and/or currently focused-upon topics of other users of the machine system;
 (c.10) information about currently available promotional goods and/or services;
 (c.11) a presentation format selecting and/or identifying tool;
 (c.12) an associated context indicating tool that indicates one or more contexts associated with a corresponding current presentation format;
 (c.13) a serving tray hiding and/or unhiding tool;
 (c.14) an eye tracking calibration tool;
 (c.15) an information expansion tool;
 (c.16) an associated Cognitions-representing Space node or subregion investigating tool;
 (c.17) an associated person or associated group investigating tool;
 (c.18) an associated facial state displaying and/or selecting tool;
 (c.19) an associated forum investigating tool;
 (c.20) an associated event investigating tool;
 (c.21) an associated transport options investigating tool;
 (c.22) an associated expert and/or otherwise influential person linking-to tool for linking to one or more associated expert and/or otherwise influential persons of a respective Cognitions-representing Space node or subregion;
 (c.23) an associated expert and/or otherwise influential person tracking tool for tracking touching journeys made by one or more associated expert and/or otherwise influential persons through a respective Cognitions-representing Space or subregion thereof;
 (c.24) a personas interrelationships tracking tool for tracking down various personas based on their interrelationships and optionally grouping them together based on their tracked down interrelationships;
 (c.25) a similar journeys tracking tool for automatically finding closely disposed touching journeys of two or more users through a respective Cognitions-representing Space or subregion thereof;
 (c.26) a trending journeys tool for automatically predicting intersecting and/or continuing touching journeys of two or more users through a respective Cognitions-representing Space or subregion thereof;
 (c.27) an interaction co-compatibility tool for automatically predicting interaction co-compatibility between two or more users of the machine system
 (c.28) an emotional engagement and/or social engagement and/or other heat indicating tool configured to indicate degree of emotional, social and/or other engagement the first user and/or another entity has with corresponding content; and
 (c.29) a voting and/or commenting tool configured to allow the first user to vote on and/or comment with respect to likes and/or dislikes for a corresponding one or more servicings or other tools or offerings or suggestions automatically provided to the first user by the machine system.

         133 : The machine system of claim 132 and further wherein the processors are configured to:
 (d) automatically repeatedly generate one or more predicted or extrapolated future trajectories within a cognition-representing space for touchings within that space based on previous touchings made by the respective user and/or made by one or more other users within that space and/or automatically repeatedly presenting to the first user one or more predicted heats associated with the predicted or extrapolated future trajectories.
