Abstract

Methods, systems, and computer readable medium for providing a translated message in telecommunications. A request is received for translating a current message in a first language into a current message in a second language destined for a user. Whether the current message in the first language has been previously translated into a corresponding message in the second language is determined. If the corresponding message in the second language exists, the current message in the second language is generated based on the corresponding message in the second language previously translated. The current message is then sent in the second language to the user as a response to the request.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
We claim:

1 . A method implemented on a computer having at least one processor, storage, and communication platform for providing message translation, the method comprising:
receiving by a translation server, a request initiated by an Internet source to translate content in a first language destined for a user to content in a second language; identifying a plurality of translatable components of the content in the first language; determining whether a criterion associated with the plurality of translatable components is satisfied; and in response to the criterion being satisfied,
generating content in the second language, and
transmitting the generated content in the second language to the user.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the request is initiated by the Internet source independent of the user.

3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the Internet source generates the content in the first language without receiving any input from the user.

4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the criterion corresponds to one or more of the plurality of translatable components having a previously translated component in the second language.

5 . The method of claim 4 , wherein in response to the criterion being satisfied, the method further comprises:
generating content in the second language by replacing the one or more of the plurality of translatable components with the corresponding translated component in the second language; and scheduling for translation, the translatable components that do not have a previously translated component in the second language.

6 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
in response to the criterion being unsatisfied, transmitting content in the first language to the user.

7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the content generated in the second language is translated via at least one of a machine translation, human translation, and a combination thereof.

8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the content in the first language is one of an electronic mail and a text message.

9 . A non-transitory machine-readable medium having information recorded thereon for providing message translation, wherein the information, when read by the machine, causes the machine to perform the following:
receiving by a translation server, a request initiated by an Internet source to translate content in a first language destined for a user to content in a second language; identifying a plurality of translatable components of the content in the first language; determining whether a criterion associated with the plurality of translatable components is satisfied; and in response to the criterion being satisfied,
generating content in the second language, and
transmitting the generated content in the second language to the user.

10 . The medium of claim 9 , wherein the request is initiated by the Internet source independent of the user.

11 . The medium of claim 9 , wherein the Internet source generates the content in the first language without receiving any input from the user.

12 . The medium of claim 9 , wherein the criterion corresponds to one or more of the plurality of translatable components having a previously translated component in the second language.

13 . The medium of claim 12 , wherein the information, when read by the machine, causes the machine to further perform:
in response to the criterion being satisfied,
generating content in the second language by replacing the one or more of the plurality of translatable components with the corresponding translated component in the second language; and
scheduling for translation, the translatable components that do not have a previously translated component in the second language.

14 . The medium of claim 9 , wherein the information, when read by the machine, causes the machine to further perform:
in response to the criterion being unsatisfied, transmitting content in the first language to the user.

15 . The medium of claim 9 , wherein the content generated in the second language is translated via at least one of a machine translation, human translation, and a combination thereof.

16 . The medium of claim 9 , wherein the content in the first language is one of an electronic mail and a text message.
