. The computer-implemented method of claim 16 , wherein milestones associated with rooms in the floor plan include at least one of a steel erection milestone, a fireproofing milestone, an in-wall completion milestone, and an overhead completion milestone.

. The computer-implemented method of claim 19 , wherein a milestone associated with a room is the in-wall completion milestone, and wherein the two or more activities associated with the in-wall completion milestone include at least one of an in-wall framing activity and an in-wall plumbing activity.

. The computer-implemented method of claim 16 , further comprising: and identifying, by the processor, for each of the plurality of rooms in the floor plan, a respective specified date indicating when the selected milestone is forecast to be completed for rooms with which the selected milestone is associated.

. The computer-implemented method of claim 16 , wherein the color characteristic comprises one of a color and a selected shade of a selected color.

. The computer-implemented method of claim 18 , wherein determining a color characteristic of a respective room based on the determined time period further comprises: associating a first color with the respective room if the identified specified date is after the present date; and associating a second color with the respective room if the identified specified date is in the past.

. The computer-implemented method of claim 16 , wherein determining a color characteristic of a respective room based on the determined time period further comprises: associating a first shade of a selected color with the respective room if the identified specified date is after the present date; and associating a second shade of the selected color with the respective room if the associated specified date is in the past.

. The computer-implemented method of claim 17 , wherein the color characteristic is based on an average of the completion dates of two inspections.

. The computer-implemented method of claim 17 , wherein the color characteristic is based on a completion date of one of two inspections that is farthest from the present.

. The computer-implemented method of claim 17 , wherein the color characteristic is based on a completion date of one of two inspections that is closest from the present.

. The computer-implemented method of claim 17 , further comprising:
determining, by the processor, a second color characteristic of respective rooms based on the completion date of a second inspection, wherein the color characteristic is a first color characteristic based on the completion date of a first inspection, and wherein each respective room in the plurality of rooms is displayed in the visual map based on the associated first and second color characteristics.

. A device comprising:
