Abstract

Provided is a hydrogen water generator that is capable of preventing an increase in pH so as to prevent alkalinization of water while generating water containing plenty of hydrogen gas. A hydrogen water generator includes a container having water and magnesium particles, capable of reacting with the water to generate hydrogen gas, encapsulated therein, wherein the container is made of an air-permeable and water-impermeable material, which allows the hydrogen gas to pass from the inside to the outside of the container and prevents the water from passing from the inside to the outside of the container. At least one kind of thermoplastic resin selected from a group consisting of polyvinylidene chloride, polyvinyl chloride, and polyacrylonitrile may be used as the air-permeable and water-impermeable material.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A hydrogen generation container comprising:
a bar-shaped case body including a hollow space defined therein for containing magnesium particles or aluminum powder, and a plurality of windows disposed on an upper surface or a lower surface of the case body at predetermined intervals in a longitudinal direction of the case body for allowing the hollow space to communicate with an outside of the case body; an air-permeable and water-impermeable material for covering the plurality of windows; an injection opening disposed at one end of the case body for injecting water into the hollow space of the case body to react with the magnesium particles or aluminum powder, thereby generating hydrogen; and a sealer configured for closing the injection opening, wherein the generated hydrogen flows out through the air-permeable and water permeable material, and the injected water is prevented from flowing out through the air-permeable and water permeable material.

2 . The hydrogen generation container of claim 1 , further comprising a filter disposed inside the case body for preventing waste or dust from being attached to the plurality of windows.

3 . The hydrogen generation container of claim 1 , wherein the sealer has a male screw on an outer circumferential surface thereof for closing the injection opening.

4 . The hydrogen generation container of claim 1 , wherein the sealer has a recess disposed on one end thereof to be used for rotating the sealer to open or close.

5 . The hydrogen generation container of claim 1 , further comprising a water bag disposed inside the case body and containing water therein.

6 . The hydrogen generation container of claim 5 , wherein the sealer has a needle-shaped protrusion disposed on an inner end thereof, such that the protrusion breaks through the water bag when the sealer closes the injection opening.
