Abstract
A reusable bag for containing soiled textiles is used in conjunction with a sling and a wheeled tote to efficiently process soiled laundry in a cleaning process. The reusable bag does not leave a residue on the soiled textiles during the cleaning process and offers significant cost savings over other cleaning options while still allowing for the safe handling of the soiled textiles in the cleaning process.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A receptacle for collecting soiled textiles, comprising:
a container having an open end, a closed end, and sides extending therebetween; a sling having an open end, a second end having an opening that can be selectively closed, and sides extending therebetween, being disposed in and supported by said container; and a reusable bag having an open end, a closed end, and sides extending therebetween, being disposed inside said sling, and said bag being capable of containing at least 175 lbs. of soiled textiles and having a capacity of at least 50 gallons, wherein said bag is disposed in said sling, the closed end of said bag being supported by said second end of said sling when said opening of said second end is closed.
2 . The receptacle according to claim 1 , wherein the second end of said sling has an opening that can be cinched closed.
3 . The receptacle according to claim 1 , further comprising a lid mounted on said container.
4 . The receptacle according to claim 1 , further comprising a lid with an opening for receiving the soiled textiles mounted on said container.
5 . The receptacle according to claim 4 , wherein said lid secures the open end of said bag to the open end of said container.
6 . The receptacle according to claim 1 further comprising:
at least one retention strap to selectively secure the bag to the container when the bag is in the container.
7 . The receptacle of claim 1 further comprising:
a loop strap extending from the bag proximate the open end to selectively secure the bag to the container.
8 . The receptacle of claim 7 wherein the loop strap is located opposite from the retention strap.
9 . A receptacle for collecting soiled textiles, comprising:
a container having an open end, a closed end, and sides extending therebetween; a lid with an opening for receiving the soiled textiles mounted on said container; a sling having an open end, a second end having an opening that can be selectively closed, and sides extending therebetween, being disposed in and supported by said container; wherein the second end of said sling has an opening that can be cinched closed; and a reusable bag having an open end, a closed end, and sides extending therebetween, being disposed inside said sling, and said bag being capable of containing at least 175 lbs. of soiled textiles and having a capacity of at least 50 gallons, wherein said bag is disposed in said sling, the closed end of said bag being supported by said second end of said sling when said opening of said second end is closed; wherein said lid secures the open end of said bag to the open end of said container.
10 . The receptacle according to claim 9 further comprising:
at least one retention strap to selectively secure the bag to the container when the bag is in the container.
11 . The receptacle of claim 10 wherein the at least on retention strap further comprises:
first and second connecting portions which cooperate with one another to releasably secure the bag to the container.
12 . The receptacle of claim 9 further comprising:
a loop strap extending from the bag proximate the open end to selectively secure the bag to the container.
13 . The receptacle of claim 12 wherein the loop strap is located opposite from the retention strap.
14 . A reusable laundry receptacle comprising:
a washable bag having an open end, a closed end, and sides extending therebetween, being disposed inside said sling, and said bag being capable of containing at least 175 lbs. of soiled textiles and having a capacity of at least 50 gallons, wherein said bag is adapted to be disposed in a sling, the closed end of said bag being supported by an end of said sling when said opening of said end is closed wherein the washable bag being adapted to be repeatedly washed with soiled laundry.
15 . The receptacle according to claim 14 further comprising:
at least one retention strap to selectively secure the bag to a container when the bag is in the container.
16 . The receptacle of claim 15 wherein the at least on retention strap further comprises:
first and second connecting portions which cooperate with one another to releasably secure the bag to the container.
17 . The receptacle of claim 14 further comprising:
a loop strap extending from the bag proximate the open end to selectively secure the bag to the container.
18 . The receptacle of claim 15 further comprising:
a loop strap extending from the bag proximate the open end to selectively secure the bag to the container.
