Claims

Abstract

A flexible airflow system providing customizable components for mounting, directing airflow and/or modifying airflow. The system may include a dual fan apparatus for providing heated or cooled air which is compact fit within limited spaces. The dual fan apparatus includes two axial fans on opposing sides of a thermal exchange component which operate in coordination to move air in one direction at a time through the apparatus. The dual fan apparatus increases airflow and thermal transfer efficiency through the thermal exchange component. The system may also include a flexible bracket system and/or a flexible ventilation system to facilitate custom configurations for the airflow system.

1 . A bracket system for an air modification device comprising:
 a center bracket having a mounting plate, a first wing and a second wing, wherein said mounting plate is configured to connect with said air modification device, and wherein said first wing and said second wing are located on opposite ends of said mounting plate and each of said first wing and said second wing include a connection port; and   a plurality of first ancillary bracket components, wherein said first ancillary bracket components are configured to connect to said connection port in at least one of said first wing and said second wing.   
     
     
         2 . The bracket system according to  claim 1 , wherein said air modification device is a dual fan apparatus. 
     
     
         3 . The bracket system according to  claim 1 , wherein said plurality of first ancillary bracket components comprises an actuating bracket having two curved sides and a center plate connecting the two curved sides. 
     
     
         4 . The bracket system according to  claim 3 , wherein said two curved sides of said actuating bracket connects to a first connection port in said first wing and a second connection port in said second wing, wherein said actuating bracket is configured to rotate around an axis between said two curved sides and said first wing and said second wing. 
     
     
         5 . The bracket system according to  claim 1 , wherein said plurality of first ancillary bracket components comprises an angled bracket having a first leg and a second leg with an angle between said first leg and said second leg. 
     
     
         6 . The bracket system according to  claim 5 , wherein said first leg comprises an oblong connection port configured to allow adjustment along said oblong connection port. 
     
     
         7 . The bracket system according to  claim 1 , comprising a secondary ancillary bracket component configured to connect with at least one of said plurality of first ancillary bracket components. 
     
     
         8 . A ventilation system for an air modification device comprising:
 a ventilation housing bracket having a base section configured to connect to said air modification device, and a cross-bar extending from a first side of said base section to a second side of said base section, wherein said cross-bar and said base section are configured to define an opening;   an interchangeable ventilation component, wherein said opening is configured to receive said interchangeable ventilation component, and wherein said interchangeable ventilation component is selected from a plurality of interchangeable ventilation components.   
     
     
         9 . The ventilation system according to  claim 8 , wherein said air modification device is a dual fan apparatus. 
     
     
         10 . The ventilation system according to  claim 8 , wherein said plurality of interchangeable ventilation components comprises at least one of a vent component, a horizontal duct component and/or a vertical duct component. 
     
     
         11 . The ventilation system according to  claim 8 , wherein said air modification device directs air through said interchangeable ventilation component of said flexible ventilation system. 
     
     
         12 . The ventilation system according to  claim 8 , wherein said cross-bar and said base section are configured to define a second opening configured to receive a second interchangeable ventilation component selected from said plurality of interchangeable ventilation components. 
     
     
         13 . The ventilation system according to  claim 8 , comprises a connection between said interchangeable ventilation component and said ventilation housing bracket. 
     
     
         14 . The ventilation system according to  claim 13 , wherein said connection comprises at least one of a friction connection, a fitted connection, a bolted connection and/or a threaded connection.
