Toy building brick system

Abstract

A toy building brick system includes a brick having an outer surface. The outer surface includes a plurality of outer walls. A plurality of male connectors is mounted on the brick. Each of the male connectors is engageable with a female connector of a different toy building brick. The brick is configured to only be capable of engaging with female connectors. The brick is devoid of female connectors such that the brick is incapable of direct engagement with male connectors.

1 . A toy building brick assembly comprising:
 a brick having an outer surface, said outer surface including a plurality of outer walls;   a plurality of male connectors being mounted on said brick, said male connectors each being configured to engage a female connector of a different toy building brick, said brick being configured to only be capable of engaging with female connectors, said brick being devoid of female connectors such that said brick is incapable of direct engagement with male connectors; and   wherein at least one of said outer walls is defined by a peripheral edge such that said at least one of said outer faces is open surrounding said male connectors extending from said at least one of said outer walls.   
     
     
         2 . The toy building brick assembly according to  claim 1 , wherein each of said outer walls has at least one of said male connectors attached thereto. 
     
     
         3 . The toy building brick assembly according to  claim 1 , wherein each of said outer walls has at least two of said male connectors attached thereto. 
     
     
         4 . The toy building brick assembly according to  claim 1 , wherein each of said outer walls has at least four of said male connectors attached thereto. 
     
     
         5 . The toy building brick assembly according to  claim 1 , wherein each of said outer walls has a rectangular shape. 
     
     
         6 . The toy building brick assembly according to  claim 1 , wherein said rectangular shape comprises a square shape. 
     
     
         7 . The toy building brick assembly according to  claim 2 , wherein each of said outer walls has a rectangular shape. 
     
     
         8 . The toy building brick assembly according to  claim 7 , wherein said rectangular shape comprises a square shape. 
     
     
         9 . The toy building brick assembly according to  claim 3 , wherein each of said outer walls has a rectangular shape. 
     
     
         10 . The toy building brick assembly according to  claim 9 , wherein said rectangular shape comprises a square shape. 
     
     
         11 . The toy building brick assembly according to  claim 1 , wherein said brick has a length, a width and a height each being less than 3.0 inches. 
     
     
         12 . The toy building brick assembly according to  claim 2 , wherein said brick has a length, a width and a height each being less than 3.0 inches. 
     
     
         13 . The toy building brick assembly according to  claim 7 , wherein said brick has a length, a width and a height each being less than 3.0 inches. 
     
     
         14 . The toy building brick assembly according to  claim 9 , wherein said brick has a length, a width and a height each being less than 3.0 inches.
