Abstract
The present disclosure provides an example method and system for managing tab buttons. A tab sliding bar including multiple tab buttons is established. A focusing area is set up at a display area. When the tab sliding bar is slid, information of a tab button among the multiple tab buttons that has fallen within the focusing area is obtained. The information of the tab button that has fallen within the focusing area is used as input information at a page. The page is displayed according to the input information.

21 . A method comprising:
establishing a tab sliding bar including multiple tab buttons, wherein the tab buttons are displayed in full when a page is initially displayed, and a transparent degree of the tab buttons remaining in a focusing area is modified up to 100% in accordance with a pull down operation, and is modified down to 0% in accordance with a pull up operation; setting a focusing area at an area of a display screen; obtaining information of a tab button that has fallen within the focusing area along with a sliding movement of the tab sliding bar; and using information of the tab button as input information at a page.
22 . The method as recited in claim 21 , further comprising displaying the page according to the input information.
23 . The method as recited in claim 21 , wherein the tab sliding bar is slidable.
24 . The method as recited in claim 21 , further comprising, when the page is initially displayed or refreshed, displaying the tab sliding bar.
25 . The method as recited in claim 24 , further comprising:
determining a default tab button among the multiple tab buttons at the tab sliding bar; and displaying the default tab button at the focusing area.
26 . The method as recited in claim 21 , wherein the page comprises a list of search results.
27 . The method as recited in claim 26 , wherein the list of search results includes more business objects including products displayed in an e-commerce website.
28 . The method as recited in claim 27 , wherein the using information of the tab as the input information at the page comprises:
re-ranking the search results according to the input information; and displaying the re-ranked search results.
29 . The method as recited in claim 21 , wherein the obtaining information of the tab buttons that has fallen within the focusing area comprises:
establishing a coordinate system covering the display screen; and assigning a respective coordinate to the focusing area and each of the multiple tab buttons; and when a time period that the multiple tab buttons are not slid is more than a first time threshold, determining a respective tab button with a minimal coordinative difference from the focusing area as the tab button that has fallen within the focusing area.
30 . The method as recited in claim 29 , further comprising modifying a respective coordinate of a respective tab button that has not fallen within the focusing area to be outside the display screen in the coordinate system.
31 . The method as recited in claim 29 , further comprising:
when the page is initially displayed or refreshed, displaying the tab sliding bar; and adjusting an attribute to display and locate the tab button of the tab sliding bar such that a default tab button at the tab sliding bar is displayed at the focusing area and one or more tab buttons other than the default tab button are located outside of the area of the display screen in the coordinate system.
32 . The method as recited in claim 28 , further comprising, when the sliding movement at the page is detected, modifying a transparent degree of the tab button that is displayed at the page.
33 . A computer-readable medium storing computer-readable instructions executable by one or more processors, that when executed by the one or more processors, causes the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
establishing a tab sliding bar including multiple tab buttons, wherein the tab buttons are displayed in full when a page is initially displayed, and a transparent degree of the tab buttons remaining in a focusing area is modified up to 100% in accordance with a pull down operation, and is modified down to 0% in accordance with a pull up operation; setting a focusing area at an area of a display screen; establishing a coordinate system covering the display screen; and assigning a respective coordinate to the focusing area and each of the multiple tab buttons; and changing the respective coordinate of each of the multiple tab buttons along with a sliding movement of the tab sliding bar.

The computer-readable medium as recited in claim 33 , the operations further comprising when a time period that the multiple tab buttons are not slid is more than a first time threshold, determining a respective tab button with a minimal coordinative difference from the focusing area as the tab button within the focusing area.
35 . The computer-readable medium as recited in claim 33 , the operations further comprising modifying a respective coordinate of a respective tab button that has not fallen within the focusing area to be outside the display screen in the coordinate system.
36 . The computer-readable medium as recited in claim 33 , the operations further comprising:
re-ranking search results at a page displayed at the display screen according to the input information; obtaining information of a tab button that has fallen within the focusing area along with a sliding movement of the tab sliding bar; using information of the tab button as input information at a page; and displaying the re-ranked search results.
37 . A system comprising:
a tab bar module that establishes a sliding bar, wherein the sliding bar including multiple tab buttons is displayed in full when the page is initially displayed and a transparent degree of the tab buttons remaining in a focusing area is modified up to 100% in accordance with a pull down operation, and is modified down to 0% in accordance with a pull up operation; a focusing module that sets up a focusing area at an area of a display screen and obtains information of a tab button among multiple tab buttons of a tab sliding bar that has fallen within the focusing area along with a sliding movement of the tab sliding bar; and a displaying module that uses the information of the tab button that has fallen within the focusing area as input information at a page and displays the page according to the input information.

The system as recited in claim 37 , further comprising a coordinate module that constructs a coordinate system covering the area of the display screen, assigns a coordinate to the focusing area and each tab button respectively, and, when a time period that the multiple tab buttons are not slid is more than a first time threshold, determines a respective tab button with a minimal coordinative difference from the focusing area as the tab button within the focusing area.
39 . The system as recited in claim 37 , further comprising a transparency module that, when the sliding movement at the page is detected, modifies a transparent degree of the displayed tab button at the page.

The system as recited in claim 37 , further comprising a tab bar module that, when the page is initially displayed or refreshed, displays the tab sliding bar, and modifies an attribute of the tab sliding bar so that a respective tab button determined as a default tab button in the tab sliding bar is displayed in the focusing area.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
