Abstract

The preset invention proposes an infant bed having a sudden death prevention function, comprising: a bed body having a grating structure capable of ventilation; a mattress body comprising an air layer having excellent air permeability; and a bed body support stand having an air layer formed beneath the bed body such that air can flow through the bottom thereof, wherein air can still flow even when an infant who has been sleeping with the back down in a supine position turns the body into a prone position with the nose down, thereby fundamentally preventing sudden infant death due to suffocation.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . An infant bed with sudden death prevention function, comprising:
a bed body in a rectangular frame shape with an open top, which has a ventilation-capable lattice structure; a mattress body installed and seated in the bed body, which has an air layer to prevent sudden death due to a suffocation accident even if an infant who has been sleeping with the back down in a supine position turns over with the nose facing a mattress; and a bed body support stand disposed beneath the bed body, which forms a flowable air layer while supporting the bottom of the bed body, wherein:
the bed body includes a lattice-shaped body floor, and a lattice-shaped body frame which is vertically connected to the body floor and has four integrated sides, and the bed body has a construction of wider top and narrower bottom wherein the open top is wide but the bed body becomes narrower toward the body floor,
the mattress body is installed and seated in the bed body which is formed in a rectangular frame shape with an open top and has a ventilation-capable lattice structure; and is configured in a foldable form to be folded in order to cover the four sides of the body floor and the body frame,
the bed body support stand is disposed between the body floor of the bed body and the floor in a room to thus allow air to flow from the room floor through the air layer while supporting the bed body,
the mattress body includes a main mattress disposed on the body floor of the bed body; and four wing mattresses which are integrally formed with four sides of the main mattress and foldable respectively, and cover four sides of the body frame, wherein the four wing mattresses are characterized in that: these wing mattresses cover the four sides of the body frame of the bed body, thus having a bumper function in order to absorb shock applied to an infant in a collision caused by motion of the infant such as tossing and turning or rolling in the bed,
the bed body support stand further includes leg parts, which are installed at four edges of the body floor of the bed body, respectively.

2 . The infant bed according to claim 1 , wherein the bed body is configured in a rectangular frame shape including the body floor and the body frame integrated together, and is fabricated using any one or more materials among plastic, wood and metal.

3 . The infant bed according to claim 1 , further comprising:
a rectangular stand with a size corresponding to the shape of the body floor of the bed body, wherein:
the rectangular stand includes ventilation holes formed on four side frames, through which air can pass; and
an upper part of the rectangular stand to support the bed body has an open structure.
