Centrifugal pump assembly with electric motor

Abstract

A centrifugal pump assembly, with electric motor arranged in a casing, includes at one end, a wet section, formed by a volute and containing an impeller, and, at the other end, a box, which contains an electrical board, in contact with one end of the casing. The electric motor is of the permanent-magnet brushless type and the casing is made of stainless steel.

A centrifugal pump assembly with an electric motor arranged in a casing, the assembly comprising: at one end, a wet section formed by a volute and containing an impeller, and, at the other end, a box, which contains an electrical board, in contact with one end of said casing, wherein said electric motor is of the permanent-magnet brushless type and said casing is made of stainless steel.

The centrifugal pump assembly according to  claim 1 , wherein said casing is cup-shaped with a base which comprises one or more elastically deformable elements, which are adapted to generate a thrust on one or more corresponding pins arranged on the surface of said box that faces said base. 
     
     
         3 . The centrifugal pump assembly according to  claim 1 , wherein said casing is provided with a perimetric annular tab provided with a plurality of through holes adapted for the insertion of screws for fixing said casing to a body of said volute. 
     
     
         4 . The centrifugal pump assembly according to  claim 2 , wherein said base is provided with an opening adapted for the insertion of terminals of said electric motor connected to the electrical board. 
     
     
         5 . The centrifugal pump assembly according to  claim 1 , wherein said base is provided with a hole for access to said wet section and partially to a stator of said electric motor. 
     
     
         6 . The centrifugal pump assembly according to  claim 1 , wherein said base of said casing of said electric motor is proximate to a free tip of a tubular end of a gap sleeve. 
     
     
         7 . The centrifugal pump assembly according to  claim 1 , wherein said box and said casing have mutually complementary contact surfaces. 
     
     
         8 . The centrifugal pump assembly according to  claim 1 , wherein a sealing element, co-molded with said box, is disposed between said casing and said box.
