Tobacco product with fluorescent or phosphorescent substances

Abstract

A filter cigarette includes a filter, a filter wrapper material enwrapping the filter, a tobacco rod, a tobacco rod wrapper material enwrapping the tobacco rod, and a mouthpiece wrapper material. The mouthpiece wrapper material enwraps at least a subregion of the filter wrapper material and has an upper surface which forms at least part of the surface of the filter cigarette. The filter cigarette has at least one fluorescent or phosphorescent substance in the region of the mouthpiece wrapper material below the upper surface of the mouthpiece wrapper material. The mouthpiece wrapper material has an opening in at least one region of the fluorescent or phosphorescent substance or is embodied as a translucent or transparent film, so that this at least one region is visible from the outside of the filter cigarette.

         17 . A filter cigarette comprising:
 a filter;   a filter wrapper material enwrapping the filter;   a tobacco rod;   a tobacco rod wrapper material enwrapping the tobacco rod; and   a mouthpiece wrapper material enwrapping at least a subregion of the filter wrapper material and having an upper surface which forms at least part of the surface of the filter cigarette,   wherein the filter cigarette comprises at least one fluorescent or phosphorescent substance in at least one region of the mouthpiece wrapper material which is located below the upper surface of the mouthpiece wrapper material, and   wherein the mouthpiece wrapper material includes, in said at least one region of the fluorescent or phosphorescent substance, at least one of:
 at least one opening, and 
 at least one of a translucent film and a transparent film, so that said at least one region that comprises at least one fluorescent or phosphorescent substance and which is located below the upper surface of the mouthpiece wrapper material is visible from outside of the filter cigarette. 
   
     
     
         18 . The filter cigarette according to  claim 17 , wherein the mouthpiece wrapper material or an intermediate section of the mouthpiece wrapper material is translucent or transparent and the filter cigarette comprises at least one fluorescent or phosphorescent substance which is located below the mouthpiece wrapper material or below the intermediate section thereof. 
     
     
         19 . The filter cigarette according to  claim 17 , wherein the mouthpiece wrapper material has at least one opening or perforation and the filter cigarette comprises at least one fluorescent or phosphorescent substance which is located below at least one opening or perforation. 
     
     
         20 . The filter cigarette according to  claim 19 , wherein the at least one opening or perforation is closed by translucent or transparent material. 
     
     
         21 . The filter cigarette according to  claim 19 , wherein a transparent or translucent intermediate layer is arranged between at least one opening or perforation and the at least one fluorescent or phosphorescent substance. 
     
     
         22 . The filter cigarette according to  claim 17 , wherein:
 a three-dimensional luminous object is contained in the filter, which object comprises at least one fluorescent or phosphorescent substance, and   the filter and the filter wrapper material are made transparent or translucent at least in a region of the three-dimensional luminous object.   
     
     
         23 . The filter cigarette according to  claim 17 , wherein at least one fluorescent or phosphorescent substance is contained in a luminous coating. 
     
     
         24 . The filter cigarette according to  claim 17 , wherein:
 at least one fluorescent or phosphorescent substance is enclosed in the material of a translucent or transparent film, and   the transparent film is the mouthpiece wrapper material or a part thereof.   
     
     
         25 . The filter cigarette according to  claim 17 , wherein:
 at least one fluorescent or phosphorescent substance is enclosed in the material of a translucent or transparent film, and the transparent film is arranged below the upper surface of the mouthpiece wrapper material.   
     
     
         26 . The filter cigarette according to  claim 17 , wherein the filter or the filter wrapper material has on the upper surface thereof an additional luminous coating containing at least one fluorescent or phosphorescent substance selected from a group of substances comprising:
 quinine;   derivatives of quinine; and   riboflavin.   
     
     
         27 . The filter cigarette according to  claim 17 , wherein the mouthpiece wrapper material has on the lower surface thereof a luminous coating containing at least one fluorescent or phosphorescent substance selected from a group of substances comprising:
 quinine;   derivatives of quinine; and   riboflavin.   
     
     
         28 . The filter cigarette according to  claim 17 , wherein the mouthpiece wrapper material has at least one opening or perforations and on the underlying exposed surface of the next underlying layer thereof has a luminous coating containing at least one fluorescent or phosphorescent substance selected from a group of substances comprising:
 quinine;   derivatives of quinine; and   riboflavin.   
     
     
         29 . The filter cigarette according to  claim 17 , wherein:
 the mouthpiece wrapper material has an imitation cork appearance, and   the fluorescent or phosphorescent substance which is present in the imitation cork appearance region is riboflavin.   
     
     
         30 . The filter cigarette according to  claim 17 , wherein the at least one fluorescent or phosphorescent substance is present as a character code, graphic code or QR code, or part of a character code, graphic code, or QR code. 
     
     
         31 . The filter cigarette according to  claim 17 , wherein the luminosity of the fluorescent or phosphorescent substance is not visible in daylight and becomes visible only with increasing darkness. 
     
     
         32 . The filter cigarette according to  claim 17 , wherein regions of the filter cigarette provided with the fluorescent or phosphorescent substance, that is the surfaces of the filter cigarette under which fluorescent or phosphorescent substances are present, cannot be differentiated in daylight by the human eye from surface regions of the filter cigarette enclosing or adjacent to said regions provided with said substances. 
     
     
         33 . A filter cigarette comprising:
 a filter;   a filter wrapper material enwrapping the filter;   a tobacco rod;   a tobacco rod wrapper material enwrapping the tobacco rod; and   a mouthpiece wrapper material enwrapping at least a subregion of the filter wrapper material and having an upper surface which forms at least part of the surface of the filter cigarette,   wherein the mouthpiece wrapper material or a part thereof is a transparent film, and   wherein at least one fluorescent or phosphorescent substance is one of:
 enclosed in a material of said translucent or transparent film; and 
 is located below said translucent or transparent film. 
   
     
     
         34 . The filter cigarette according to  claim 33 , wherein said translucent or transparent film is a one of a plastic film, cellophane, and a film doped with luminescent substance. 
     
     
         35 . A filter cigarette comprising:
 a filter;   a filter wrapper material enwrapping the filter;   a tobacco rod;   a tobacco rod wrapper material enwrapping the tobacco rod; and   a mouthpiece wrapper material enwrapping at least a subregion of the filter wrapper material and having an upper surface which forms at least part of the surface of the filter cigarette,   wherein the filter cigarette comprises at least one fluorescent or phosphorescent substance in at least one region of the mouthpiece wrapper material on the upper surface thereof comprising at least one fluorescent or phosphorescent substance selected from a group of substances comprising:
 quinine; 
 derivatives of quinine; and 
 riboflavin. 
   
     
     
         36 . The filter cigarette according to  claim 35 , wherein:
 the mouthpiece wrapper material has an imitation cork appearance, and   the fluorescent or phosphorescent substance is present in the imitation cork appearance region and comprises riboflavin.
