Posture improving garment

Abstract

A garment includes a longitudinal arch support configured for supporting a longitudinal arch of a foot; and an arch strap that at least partially overlays the longitudinal arch support.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A garment, comprising:
 a longitudinal arch support configured for supporting a longitudinal arch of a foot; and   an arch strap that at least partially overlays the longitudinal arch support.   
     
     
         2 . A garment, comprising:
 a longitudinal arch support configured for supporting a longitudinal arch of a foot; and   a transverse arch support that extends from the longitudinal arch support and is configured for supporting a transverse arch of the foot.   
     
     
         3 . The garment of  claim 2 , wherein the transverse arch support includes two bands that extend from the longitudinal arch support and criss-cross over the foot to provide support to a midfoot region of the foot. 
     
     
         4 . The garment of  claim 2 , further comprising:
 a heel support configured to provide a compression on a fat pad of the foot.   
     
     
         5 . The garment of  claim 2 , further comprising:
 an adjustable arch strap configured to releasably couple with the longitudinal arch support.   
     
     
         6 . The garment of  claim 5 , wherein:
 the longitudinal arch support includes an inner surface and an outer surface;   at least a portion of the outer surface of the longitudinal arch support includes a first coupler; and   the adjustable arch strap includes a second coupler configured to releasably couple with the first coupler.   
     
     
         7 . The garment of  claim 6 , wherein the first coupler and the second coupler include hook and loop couplers.
