Abstract

A refill bottle and system for an electronic cigarette. The refill bottle and system can comprise a refill bottle. The refill bottle can comprise a bottle housing, a bottle cavity defined by the bottle housing, and a refill assembly coupled to the bottle housing. The refill assembly can comprise a bottle stopper, a movable assembly, a spring, a filling projection, and a projection opening. The refill assembly can be configured to cover the filling projection and the projection opening when no force is acting upon the refill assembly. The refill system can further comprise an eCig tank comprising a tank side wall, a tank reservoir defined by the tank side wall, and a self-sealing port coupled to the tank side wall.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 - 20 . (canceled)

         21 . A refill bottle for a liquid transferring system, comprising:
 a bottle housing including a neck at an end of the bottle housing; a bottle cavity defined by the bottle housing; a lid retainer coupled to the neck; a movable lid captured within the neck by the lid retainer, wherein a movable lid configured to interact with a vapor tube of an electronic cigarette tank to move from a closed position to an open position; and a liquid port between the bottle cavity and the lid retainer, wherein a flow path from the bottle cavity is open through the liquid port when the movable lid is in the open configuration, and the flow path is closed when the movable lid is in the closed position.

         22 . The refill bottle of claim 21 , further comprising a port housing including the liquid port, wherein the port housing is located between the lid retainer at the end of the bottle housing and the bottle cavity.

         23 . The refill bottle of claim 22 , wherein:
 in the open configuration, the movable lid is configured to be displaced toward the port housing by interaction with the vapor tube of the electronic cigarette; and in the closed configuration, the movable lid is configured to be moved into contact with the lid retainer to seal the flow path.

         24 . The refill bottle of claim 23 , further comprising a spring located between the port housing and the movable lid, the spring configured to bias the movable lid toward the closed position.

         25 . The refill bottle of claim 21 , wherein the refill bottle includes an aperture in the lid retainer to receive the vapor tube.

         26 . The refill bottle of claim 21 , wherein the refill bottle is configured to dispense a known volume of liquid when the movable lid is moved into the open configuration.

         27 . The refill bottle of claim 21 , wherein the liquid port includes a one-way valve that prevents liquid from moving into the bottle cavity.

         28 . The refill bottle of claim 21 , further comprising a bladder within the bottle cavity to hold a liquid.

         29 . The refill bottle of claim 28 , further including a mechanism to press against the bladder to move a predetermined amount of liquid out of the refill bottle.

         30 . A refill system for an electronic cigarette, comprising:
 an electronic cigarette tank including a tank housing, a vapor tube, and a tank cavity, wherein the tank cavity is configured to hold a liquid; and a refill bottle configured to engage with the electronic cigarette tank, the refill bottle including:
 a bottle housing including a neck at an end of the bottle housing;
 a bottle cavity defined by the bottle housing;
 a lid retainer coupled to the neck;
 a movable lid captured within the neck by the lid retainer, wherein a movable lid configured to interact with a vapor tube of the electronic cigarette tank to move from a closed position to an open position; and
 a liquid port between the bottle cavity and the lid retainer, wherein a flow path from the bottle cavity is open through the liquid port when the movable lid is in the open configuration, and the flow path is closed when the movable lid is in the closed position.

         31 . The refill system of claim 30 , further comprising a port housing including the liquid port, wherein the port housing is located between the lid retainer at the end of the bottle housing and the bottle cavity.

         32 . The refill system of claim 31 , wherein:
 in the open configuration, the movable lid is configured to be displaced toward the port housing by interaction with the vapor tube of the electronic cigarette; and in the closed configuration, the movable lid is configured to be moved into contact with the lid retainer to seal the flow path.

         33 . The refill system of claim 32 , further comprising a spring located between the port housing and the movable lid, the spring configured to bias the movable lid toward the closed position.

         34 . The refill system of claim 30 , wherein the refill bottle includes an aperture in the lid retainer to receive the vapor tube.

         35 . The refill system of claim 30 , wherein the refill bottle is configured to dispense a known volume of liquid when the movable lid is moved into the open configuration.

         36 . The refill system of claim 30 , wherein the liquid port includes a one-way valve that prevents liquid from moving into the bottle cavity.
