Abstract

An aerial system discrimination system includes an aerial system disruption system, an aerial system identification system, and a permissions module. The discrimination system can additionally include or use an identifier transmission system configured to mount to the aerial system. The discrimination system functions to determine whether an aerial system is authorized or unauthorized to be in the airspace. The discrimination system can additionally function to prevent, disrupt, remove, or otherwise interact with an unauthorized aerial system within the airspace.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A system comprising:
an identification receiver configured to receive an aerial system identifier broadcasted by an identifier transmission component that is coupled to an aerial system, wherein the identifier transmission component is configured to broadcast the aerial system identifier that is unique to the aerial system; and a permission determination component configured to receive the aerial system identifier provided by the identification receiver, wherein the permission determination component is configured to determine whether the aerial system associated with the aerial system identifier is permitted to be in an airspace; and wherein a disruption system is configured to disrupt an operation of the aerial system, and the disruption system is configured to be preemptively enabled based on the aerial system identifier.

2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the aerial system is an unmanned aerial vehicle.

3 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the permission determination component is configured to determine whether the aerial system associated with the aerial system identifier is permitted to be in the airspace including by being configured to determine a set of permission associated with the airspace.

4 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the permission determination component is configured to determine whether the aerial system associated with the aerial system identifier is permitted to be in the airspace including by being configured to determine whether the aerial system identifier is a valid identifier.

5 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the permission determination component is configured to determine whether the aerial system associated with the aerial system identifier is permitted to be in the airspace using a machine learning model.

6 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the aerial system identifier is globally unique, unique for a geographical region, or unique for a period time.

7 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the aerial system identifier is a dynamically identifier.

8 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the aerial system identifier is based on a Service Set Identifier (SSID) of a Wi-Fi component of the aerial system.

9 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the disruption system includes a jamming system.

10 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the disruption system includes a projectile net.

         11 . A method, comprising:
receiving an aerial system identifier uniquely identifying an aerial system, wherein the aerial system identifier was transmitted using an identification transmission system coupled to the aerial system; determine whether the aerial system is permitted to be in an airspace; and in response to a determination that the aerial system is not permitted to be in the airspace, initiating a disruption of an operation of the aerial system, wherein the disruption system is enabled based on the received aerial system identifier.

12 . The method of claim 11 , wherein determining whether the aerial system associated with the aerial system identifier is permitted to be in the airspace includes determining a set of permission associated with the airspace.

13 . The method of claim 11 , wherein determining whether the aerial system associated with the aerial system identifier is permitted to be in the airspace includes determining whether the aerial system identifier is a valid identifier.

14 . The method of claim 11 , wherein determining whether the aerial system associated with the aerial system identifier is permitted to be in the airspace includes using a machine learning model.

15 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the aerial system identifier is globally unique, unique for a geographical region, or unique for a period time.

16 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the aerial system identifier is a dynamically identifier.

17 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the aerial system identifier is generated based on a Service Set Identifier (SSID) of a Wi-Fi component of the aerial system.

18 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the disruption system includes a jamming system.

19 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the disruption system includes a projectile net.

20 . An aerial system, comprising:
a flight component configure to enable a flight of the aerial system; and an identifier transmission component configured to transmit an aerial system identifier unique to the aerial system, wherein the aerial system identifier is received by a remote detection system; wherein the remote detection system includes:
an identification receiver configured to receive the transmitted aerial system identifier and provide the aerial system identifier to a permission determination component; and
the permission determination component configured to determine whether the aerial system associated with the aerial system identifier is permitted to be in an airspace; and
wherein a disruption system is configured to disrupt an operation of the aerial system, and the disruption system is configured to be enabled based on the aerial system identifier.
