Integrated unit

Abstract

An integrated unit includes an electric rotating machine, a controller to control the electric rotating machine, and a connection portion electrically connecting the electric rotating machine and the controller. The electric rotating machine has a rotor and a stator opposite to the rotor. The controller is provided outwardly in a radial direction of the electric rotating machine. The connection portion is provided such that the connection portion overlaps the electric rotating machine as viewed along the radial direction from the controller.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An integrated unit comprising:
 an electric rotating machine having a rotor and a stator opposite to the rotor;   a controller to control the electric rotating machine, the controller being provided outwardly in a radial direction of the electric rotating machine; and   a connection portion electrically connecting the electric rotating machine and the controller and provided such that the connection portion overlaps the electric rotating machine as viewed along the radial direction from the controller.   
     
     
         2 . The integrated unit according to  claim 1 , wherein the connection portion includes a first connector and a second connector which is provided opposite to the first connector with respect to a rotational axis of the electric rotating machine as viewed along the radial direction from the controller. 
     
     
         3 . The integrated unit according to  claim 2 , wherein an outer periphery of the stator is positioned between the first connector and the second connector as viewed along the rotational axis of the electric rotating machine.
