Abstract

A technique for providing advertisement information is disclosed. The technique includes, in part sending, from a device built into a vehicle, a first set of data to a server, the first set of data corresponding to measurements performed by one or more sensors, receiving a first set of elements from the server in response to the first set of data, presenting one or more elements from the first set of elements to a user of the vehicle on a display in the vehicle, and receiving at least one input corresponding to at least one selected element among the one or more elements.

         21 . A method for facilitating the providing of information to a user of a vehicle, comprising:
 receiving, by a mobile device, from a device built into the vehicle, sensor data corresponding to measurements performed by one or more sensors of a vehicle, wherein the mobile device is wirelessly tethered to the device built into the vehicle via a local proximity network;   transmitting, to a server, from the mobile device, through a network, primary information comprising at least the sensor data;   receiving, at the mobile device, from the server, through the network, a first set of elements from the server in response to sending the primary information, the first set of elements configured for display on one or both of a first display in the vehicle or a second display of the mobile device;   synchronizing, between the device built into the vehicle and the mobile device, a portion of the first set of elements via the local proximity network;   sending, to the device built into the vehicle, the portion of the first set of elements to the mobile device according to the synchronization; and   receiving information indicative of an input, the input received by the device built into the vehicle, via the second display of the vehicle, the mobile device, or the second display of the mobile device, the input indicative of a selection from among the one or more elements.   
     
     
         22 . The method of  claim 21 , further comprising:
 causing presentation of one or more elements from the portion of the first set of elements by the device built into the vehicle or on the first display in the vehicle;   
     
     
         23 . The method of  claim 21 , further comprising:
 presenting, by the mobile device, one or more elements from the portion of the first set of elements   
     
     
         24 . The method of  claim 21 , wherein the one or more data elements presented on the first display in the vehicle comprise an actionable link configured to cause the mobile device to perform an action. 
     
     
         25 . The method of  claim 24 , wherein the at least one action comprises at least one of: requesting additional information corresponding to the selected element; requesting navigational information to a venue corresponding to an advertiser; or requesting to enter into a transaction or a potential transaction associated with the selected element. 
     
     
         26 . The method of  claim 21 , further comprising:
 determining that the input was received, via the mobile device or via the second display of the mobile device, indicative of the selection from among the one or more elements; and   sending information indicative of the selection to the device built into the vehicle via the local proximity network.   
     
     
         27 . The method of  claim 21 , further comprising:
 determining that the input was received, via the mobile device or via the second display of the mobile device, indicative of the selection from among the one or more elements;   sending information indicative of the selection to the server via the network.   
     
     
         28 . An apparatus for facilitating the providing of information to a user of a vehicle, the apparatus comprising:
 a communications interface including a transmitter and receiver;   a non-transitory processor-readable storage medium comprising executable computer code; and   a processor,   wherein the executable computer code, with the processor, cause the apparatus to:   receive, by a mobile device, from a device built into the vehicle, sensor data corresponding to measurements performed by one or more sensors of a vehicle, wherein the mobile device is wirelessly tethered to the device built into the vehicle via a local proximity network;   transmit, to a server, from the mobile device, through a network, primary information comprising at least the sensor data;   receive, at the mobile device, from the server, through the network, a first set of elements from the server in response to sending the primary information, the first set of elements configured for display on one or both of a first display in the vehicle or a second display of the mobile device;   synchronize, between the device built into the vehicle and the mobile device, a portion of the first set of elements via the local proximity network;   send, to the device built into the vehicle, the portion of the first set of elements to the mobile device according to the synchronization; and   receive information indicative of an input, the input received by the device built into the vehicle, via the second display of the vehicle, the mobile device, or the second display of the mobile device, the input indicative of a selection from among the one or more elements.   
     
     
         29 . The apparatus of  claim 28 , wherein the non-transitory processor-readable storage medium and the executable computer code are further configured to, with the processor, cause the apparatus to:
 cause presentation of one or more elements from the portion of the first set of elements by the device built into the vehicle or on the first display in the vehicle;   
     
     
         30 . The apparatus of  claim 28 , wherein the non-transitory processor-readable storage medium and the executable computer code are further configured to, with the processor, cause the apparatus to:
 present, by the mobile device, one or more elements from the portion of the first set of elements   
     
     
         31 . The apparatus of  claim 28 , wherein the one or more data elements presented on the first display in the vehicle comprise an actionable link configured to cause the mobile device to perform an action.

The apparatus of  claim 31 , wherein the at least one action comprises at least one of: requesting additional information corresponding to the selected element; requesting navigational information to a venue corresponding to an advertiser; or requesting to enter into a transaction or a potential transaction associated with the selected element. 
     
     
         33 . The apparatus of  claim 28 , wherein the non-transitory processor-readable storage medium and the executable computer code are further configured to, with the processor, cause the apparatus to:
 determine that the input was received, via the mobile device or via the second display of the mobile device, indicative of the selection from among the one or more elements; and   send information indicative of the selection to the device built into the vehicle via the local proximity network.   
     
     
         34 . The apparatus of  claim 28 , wherein the non-transitory processor-readable storage medium and the executable computer code are further configured to, with the processor, cause the apparatus to:
 determine that the input was received, via the mobile device or via the second display of the mobile device, indicative of the selection from among the one or more elements;   send information indicative of the selection to the server via the network.   
     
     
         35 . A non-transitory processor-readable medium for facilitating the providing of information to a user of a vehicle, comprising processor-readable instructions configured to cause a processor to:
 receive, by a mobile device, from a device built into the vehicle, sensor data corresponding to measurements performed by one or more sensors of a vehicle, wherein the mobile device is wirelessly tethered to the device built into the vehicle via a local proximity network;   transmit, to a server, from the mobile device, through a network, primary information comprising at least the sensor data;   receive, at the mobile device, from the server, through the network, a first set of elements from the server in response to sending the primary information, the first set of elements configured for display on one or both of a first display in the vehicle or a second display of the mobile device;   synchronize, between the device built into the vehicle and the mobile device, a portion of the first set of elements via the local proximity network;   send, to the device built into the vehicle, the portion of the first set of elements to the mobile device according to the synchronization; and   receive information indicative of an input, the input received by the device built into the vehicle, via the second display of the vehicle, the mobile device, or the second display of the mobile device, the input indicative of a selection from among the one or more elements.   
     
     
         36 . The non-transitory processor-readable medium of  claim 35 , wherein the processor-readable instructions are further configured to cause a processor to:
 cause presentation of one or more elements from the portion of the first set of elements by the device built into the vehicle or on the first display in the vehicle;   
     
     
         37 . The non-transitory processor-readable medium of  claim 35 , wherein the processor-readable instructions are further configured to cause a processor to:
 present, by the mobile device, one or more elements from the portion of the first set of elements   
     
     
         38 . The non-transitory processor-readable medium of  claim 35 , wherein the one or more data elements presented on the first display in the vehicle comprise an actionable link configured to cause the mobile device to perform an action.

 determine that the input was received, via the mobile device or via the second display of the mobile device, indicative of the selection from among the one or more elements; and   send information indicative of the selection to the device built into the vehicle via the local proximity network.   
     
     
         41 . The non-transitory processor-readable medium of  claim 35 , wherein the processor-readable instructions are further configured to cause a processor to:
 determine that the input was received, via the mobile device or via the second display of the mobile device, indicative of the selection from among the one or more elements;   send information indicative of the selection to the server via the network.
