Toothbrush

Abstract

A toothbrush, including a head portion, a handle portion, a locking mechanism configured to lock said head portion to said handle portion, a capsule including a motor assembly and power supply, the capsule being configured to be received within said handle portion, and at least one communication connection configured to enable said toothbrush to communicate with one or more external computing devices.

         21 . A toothbrush, comprising:
 a replaceable head portion;   a handle portion; and   a locking mechanism including a receiving opening disposed within a housing of the replaceable head portion and a protruding portion disposed at a top of the handle portion, the receiving portion receives the protruding portion to detachably click-lock the replaceable head portion to the handle portion.   
     
     
         22 . The toothbrush according to  claim 21 , wherein the locking mechanism includes at least one indentation and a corresponding at least one rib, the at least one indentation is disposed in an interior of the receiving opening of the replaceable head portion and the at least one rib is disposed on a surface of the protruding portion, the at least one rib engages the at least one indentation when the receiving portion receives the protruding portion to detachably click-lock the replaceable head portion to the head portion. 
     
     
         23 . The toothbrush according to  claim 22 , wherein the locking mechanism prevents rotation of the replaceable head portion about the handle portion when the replaceable head portion is locked to the handle portion. 
     
     
         24 . The toothbrush according to  claim 21 , wherein the locking mechanism includes at least one post and a corresponding at least one recess, the at least one post engages the at least one recess when the receiving portion receives the protruding portion to detachably click-lock the replaceable head portion to the head portion. 
     
     
         25 . The toothbrush according to  claim 21 , wherein the protruding portion includes a guiding feature configured to guide the protruding portion into the receiving opening for locking. 
     
     
         26 . The toothbrush according to  claim 21 , wherein the toothbrush is a manual toothbrush. 
     
     
         27 . The toothbrush according to  claim 21 , wherein the replaceable head portion is configured to be replaceable with another replaceable head portion, the another replaceable head portion is configured. 
     
     
         28 . The toothbrush according to  claim 21 , wherein the handle portion includes a skin portion configured to fit over the handle portion. 
     
     
         29 . The toothbrush according to  claim 28 , wherein, upon locking the replaceable head portion and the handle portion using the locking mechanism, an outer surface of the replaceable head portion is flush with an outer surface of the skin portion. 
     
     
         30 . The toothbrush according to  claim 21 , wherein the handle portion includes a mounting surface for mounting the toothbrush to a surface exterior to the toothbrush. 
     
     
         31 . The toothbrush according to  claim 30 , wherein the exterior surface is a vertical surface. 
     
     
         32 . The toothbrush according to  claim 30 , wherein, using the mounting surface, the toothbrush is removed from the exterior surface and mounted to another surface exterior to the toothbrush. 
     
     
         33 . A toothbrush, comprising:
 a replaceable head portion;   a handle portion; and   a locking mechanism including
 a receiving opening disposed within a housing of the replaceable head portion, wherein at least one recess is disposed on an interior wall of the receiving opening; and 
 a protruding portion disposed at a top of the handle portion, wherein the protruding portion including at least one post; 
 the receiving portion receives the protruding portion to detachably snap-fit the replaceable head portion to the handle portion by using the at least one post to engage the at least one recess. 
   
     
     
         34 . The toothbrush according to  claim 33 , wherein the locking mechanism prevents rotation of the replaceable head portion about the handle portion when the replaceable head portion is locked to the handle portion. 
     
     
         35 . The toothbrush according to  claim 33 , wherein the protruding portion includes a guiding feature to guide the protruding portion into the receiving opening for locking. 
     
     
         36 . The toothbrush according to  claim 33 , wherein the toothbrush is a manual toothbrush. 
     
     
         37 . The toothbrush according to  claim 33 , wherein the replaceable head portion is configured to be replaceable with another replaceable head portion, the another replaceable head portion is configured. 
     
     
         38 . The toothbrush according to  claim 33 , wherein the handle portion includes a skin portion configured to fit over the handle portion. 
     
     
         39 . The toothbrush according to  claim 38 , wherein, upon locking the replaceable head portion and the handle portion using the locking mechanism, an outer surface of the replaceable head portion is flush with an outer surface of the skin portion.
