Abstract

A pain-relieving garment for therapeutic pain relief includes a shell that is meshed. The shell is shaped complementarily to a portion of a body of a user so that the shell is configured to position over the portion of the body of the user. A plurality of pads is coupled to the shell so that each pad is positioned proximate to an area of pain in the portion of the body of the user. Each pad comprises a radiant barrier so that the pad is configured to reflect electromagnetic radiation emitted by the body to provide localized heating of the area of pain to reduce a level of pain.

Claims

I claim:

         1 . A pain-relieving garment comprising:
a shell shaped complementarily to a portion of a body of a user wherein the shell is configured for positioning over the portion of the body of the user, the shell being meshed; and a plurality of pads coupled to the shell such that the pad is positioned proximate to an area of pain in the portion of the body of the user, each the pad comprising a radiant barrier wherein the pad is configured for reflecting electromagnetic radiation emitted by the body for localized heating of the area of pain for reducing a level of pain.

2 . The garment of claim 1 , further including the shell comprising:
a shirt; a pair of pants; and a pair of gloves.

3 . The garment of claim 2 , further including the shirt being long-sleeved.

4 . The garment of claim 2 , further including the gloves being fingerless type.

5 . The garment of claim 1 , further including each the pad having a respective shape such that the plurality of pads comprises the pads having a variety of shapes.

6 . The garment of claim 1 , further including the pads being circularly shaped.

7 . The garment of claim 1 , further including each the pad comprising:
a first layer positioned adjacent to the shell, the first layer comprising aluminum wherein the first layer is configured for reflecting the electromagnetic radiation; and a second layer coupled to the first layer distal from the shell, the second layer comprising cloth.

8 . The garment of claim 7 , further including the second layer being black colored.

9 . The garment of claim 7 , further including a third layer positioned between the first layer and the second layer, the third layer comprising mylar.

10 . The garment of claim 9 , further including the first layer and the second layer comprising aluminumized mylar.

11 . The garment of claim 2 , further including the plurality of pads comprising:
a plurality of shoulder pads coupled to the shirt such that each the shoulder pad is positioned proximate to a respective shoulder of the user wearing the shirt; a plurality of back pads coupled to the shirt such that each the back pad is positioned proximate to a lower back of the user wearing the shirt; a plurality of neck pads coupled to the shirt such that each the neck pad is positioned proximate to a lower neck of the user wearing the shirt; a plurality of elbow pads coupled to the shirt such that each the elbow pad is positioned proximate to a respective elbow of the user wearing the shirt, a plurality of hip pads coupled to the pair of pants such that each the hip pad is positioned proximate to a respective hip of the user wearing the pair of pants; a plurality of knee pads coupled to the pair of pants such that each the knee pad is positioned proximate to a respective knee of the user wearing the pair of pants; a plurality of ankle pads coupled to the pair of pants such that each the ankle pad is positioned proximate to a respective ankle of the user wearing the pair of pants; and a plurality of hand pads, each the hand pad being coupled to a respective the glove such that each the hand pad is positioned proximate to a respective hand of the user wearing the pair of gloves.

         12 . A pain-relieving garment comprising:
a shell shaped complementarily to a portion of a body of a user wherein the shell is configured for positioning over the portion of the body of the user, the shell being meshed, the shell comprising:
a shirt, the shirt being long-sleeved,
 a pair of pants, and
 a pair of gloves, the gloves being fingerless type;
a plurality of pads coupled to the shell such that the pad is positioned proximate to an area of pain in the portion of the body of the user, each the pad comprising a radiant barrier wherein the pad is configured for reflecting electromagnetic radiation emitted by the body for localized heating of the area of pain for reducing a level of pain, each the pad having a respective shape such that the plurality of pads comprises the pads having a variety of shapes, the pads being circularly shaped, each the pad comprising:
a first layer positioned adjacent to the shell, the first layer comprising aluminum wherein the first layer is configured for reflecting the electromagnetic radiation,
a second layer coupled to the first layer distal from the shell, the second layer comprising cloth, the second layer being black colored,
a third layer positioned between the first layer and the second layer, the third layer comprising mylar, the first layer and the second layer comprising aluminumized mylar; and
   the plurality of pads comprising:
a plurality of shoulder pads coupled to the shirt such that each the shoulder pad is positioned proximate to a respective shoulder of the user wearing the shirt,
a plurality of back pads coupled to the shirt such that each the back pad is positioned proximate to a lower back of the user wearing the shirt,
a plurality of neck pads coupled to the shirt such that each the neck pad is positioned proximate to a lower neck of the user wearing the shirt,
