Abstract
[Problem] To provide a therapeutic method specialized for an inflammatory disease such as intractable vasculitis and an infectious disease, which is different from the previous therapeutic methods, in which a target molecule was not determined, by determining the target molecule useful for treating these diseases. [Solution] According to one aspect of the present invention, a prophylactic and/or therapeutic agent for an infectious disease or an inflammatory disease which contains an antibody recognizing apolipoprotein a2 (APOA2) as an active ingredient is provided.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A prophylactic and/or therapeutic agent for an infectious disease or an inflammatory disease, comprising, as an active ingredient, an antibody specifically recognizing apolipoprotein A2 (APOA2)), wherein an antibody consisting of a polypeptide containing an amino acid sequence having the following sequence is excluded:

2 . The prophylactic and/or therapeutic agent according to claim 1 , wherein the infectious disease or inflammatory disease is idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, agammaglobulinemia, Kawasaki disease, Guillain-Barre syndrome, microscopic polyangiitis (MPA), eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis: EGPA, Churg-Strauss syndrome, nephritis, glomerulonephritis, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, or a combination thereof.
3 . The prophylactic and/or therapeutic agent according to claim 1 , wherein the apolipoprotein A2 (APOA2) is a protein containing an amino acid sequence identical or substantially identical to the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 2.
4 . The prophylactic and/or therapeutic agent according to claim 1 , wherein the antibody is a monoclonal antibody.
5 . The prophylactic and/or therapeutic agent according to claim 1 , wherein the antibody is a chimeric antibody, a humanized antibody, or complete human antibody.
6 . The prophylactic and/or therapeutic agent according to claim 1 , wherein the antibody is a single chain variable fragment (ScFv).
7 . An anti-APOA2 recombinant immunoglobulin fragment composition, comprising, as an active ingredient, a polypeptide containing an amino acid sequence identical or substantially identical to the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 4, wherein an amino acid sequence having the following sequence is excluded:
Sequence:

8 . (canceled)
9 . Anti-APOA2 recombinant immunoglobulin fragment composition according to claim 7 , which is used for prevention and/or treatment of an infectious disease or inflammatory disease.
10 - 15 . (canceled)
16 . A method for preventing and/or treating an infectious disease or an inflammatory disease, comprising administering an effective amount of an anti-APOA2 antibody, wherein an antibody consisting of a polypeptide containing an amino acid sequence having the following sequence is excluded:

17 . A method for screening a prophylactic and/or therapeutic agent for an infectious disease or an inflammatory disease, the method uses apolipoprotein A2 (APOA2).
18 . An inducing agent for an infectious disease or an inflammatory disease, comprising apolipoprotein A2 (APOA2) as an active ingredient.
19 . A method for producing a pathological model animal of an infectious disease or an inflammatory disease, comprising a step of administering Apolipoprotein A2 (APOA2) into a non-transgenic animal except human.
20 . The method for producing a pathological model animal according to claim 19 , wherein the infectious disease or inflammatory disease is idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, agammaglobulinemia, Kawasaki disease, Guillain-Barre syndrome, microscopic polyangiitis (MPA), eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis: EGPA, Churg-Strauss syndrome, nephritis, glomerulonephritis, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, or a combination thereof.
21 . A pathological model animal of an infectious disease or an inflammatory disease produced by the method according to claim 19 .
22 . A method for screening a prophylactic and/or therapeutic agent for an infectious disease or an inflammatory disease, comprising:
a step of administering a test substance which is a candidate as the prophylactic and/or therapeutic agent for the infectious disease or inflammatory disease into the pathological model animal according to claim 21 , and a step of evaluating the improvement and elimination of a symptom of the infectious disease or inflammatory disease in the pathological model animal.Cited by (0)
