Laundry treating apparatus with drawer unlocking unit
Abstract
A laundry treating apparatus includes a drawer. The laundry treating apparatus further includes a cabinet that is configured to receive the drawer. The laundry treating apparatus further includes a drum that is configured to rotate and that is located inside the drawer. The laundry treating apparatus further includes fastening units that are configured to dampen one of vertical motion or horizontal motion of the drawer and that are configured to connect the drawer to the cabinet. The laundry treating apparatus further includes a feeding unit that is configured to operate the fastening units. The laundry treating apparatus further includes a driving unit that is configured to reciprocate the feeding unit along another one of the horizontal direction or the vertical direction. The laundry treating apparatus further includes an unlocking unit that is configured to restrict movement of the feeding unit to one direction.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A laundry treating apparatus comprising:
a drawer; a cabinet that is configured to receive the drawer; a drum that is configured to rotate, that is located inside the drawer, and that is configured to receive laundry; fastening units that are configured to couple the drawer to the cabinet by reciprocating in one of a horizontal direction or a vertical direction of the drawer; an operating unit that is configured to operate the fastening units; an unlocking unit that is configured to decouple the fastening units from the cabinet by enabling one-way movement of the operating unit and that includes a connector that is provided to connect the operating unit; a handle that is connected to the connector and that is configured to move the operating unit in another of a horizontal direction or a vertical direction of the drawer direction; and a handle support portion that is configured to selectively fix the handle.
2 . The laundry treating apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the handle support portion is configured to fix the handle to the outer surface of the drawer.
3 . The laundry treating apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the handle support portion is located on a bottom of the drawer.
4 . The laundry treating apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the drawer defines a panel through hole that is configured to receive the connector.
5 . The laundry treating apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the handle is configured to be inserted into the handle support portion.
6 . The laundry treating apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the handle support portion is configured to receive at least a portion of handle.
7 . The laundry treating apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the handle support portion is located in the drawer or the cabinet and configured to selectively fix the handle to the drawer or the cabinet.
8 . The laundry treating apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the handle support portion includes a rib that is configured to support the handle by extending from the drawer or the cabinet.
9 . The laundry treating apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein a width of the handle support portion is equal to or larger than a width of the handle.
10 . A laundry treating apparatus comprising:
a drawer; a cabinet that is configured to receive the drawer; a drum that is configured to rotate, that is located inside the drawer, and that is configured to receive laundry; fastening units that are configured to couple the drawer to the cabinet by reciprocating in one of a horizontal direction or a vertical direction of the drawer; an operating unit that is configured to operate the fastening units; an unlocking unit that is configured to decouple the fastening units from the cabinet by enabling one-way movement of the operating units; and a driving unit that is configured to reciprocate the operating unit along another one of the horizontal direction or the vertical and that comprises:
an arm that is coupled to the operating unit and
a motor that provides moving power for the operating part and that is configured to rotate the arm,
wherein the operating unit comprises:
an operating body that is configured to reciprocate when the arm rotates and that is configured to couple to the fastening units; and
a body that is defined by the operating body and that is configured to couple to the arm.
11 . The laundry treating apparatus according to claim 10 , wherein:
the motor is configured to rotate the arm in a circle with a first diameter, and the body slot is configured to couple to the part of the arm,
12 . The laundry treating apparatus according to claim 11 , wherein a length of the body slot is equal to or longer than the first diameter.
13 . The laundry treating apparatus according to claim 11 , wherein the body slot is in a shape orthogonal to a direction in which the operating body reciprocates.
14 . The laundry treating apparatus according to claim 11 , wherein:
the arm has a slot connection at its free end, and the body slot is configured to receive the slot connecting unit,
15 . The laundry treating apparatus according to claim 12 , wherein the length of the body slot is equal to the first diameter.
16 . The laundry treating apparatus according to claim 12 , wherein the length of the body slot is greater than the first diameter.
17 . The laundry treating apparatus according to claim 10 , wherein the operating unit further comprises a guider that is configured to prevent the operating body from rotating and that is configured to reciprocate linearly.Cited by (0)
