Abstract

Methods, devices, and systems of cosmetic blotting tool and container, where a folium shaped sponge may be made of foam material and further comprise an oil absorbent characteristic to remove excess oils from a skin surface without disrupting previously applied cosmetics. Additionally, the cosmetic blotting tool and container may include a storage housing comprising a removable lid member and a vented base member, where the vented base member may facilitate drying of the first folium shaped sponge after usage via providing a ventilated area, and where the storage housing may be configured to receive and store the folium shaped sponge.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A system comprising:
at least one folium shaped sponge comprised of foam material, wherein the at least one folium shaped sponge is configured to:
 remove excess oils from a skin surface without disrupting previously applied cosmetics based on the folium shaped sponge having an oil absorbent characteristic;
smooth out any remaining cosmetics on the skin surface via a pressing motion following the pressing and lifting motion; and
improve appearance of cosmetics on the skin surface based on the removing of the excess oil substances and the smoothing out any remaining cosmetics on the skin surface.

2 . The system of claim 1 further comprising: a storage housing comprising a removable lid member and a ventilated back, wherein the ventilated back facilitates drying of the at least one folium shaped sponge after usage via providing a ventilated area.

3 . The system of claim 2 wherein the storage housing is configured to receive and store the at least one folium shaped sponge.

4 . The system of claim 2 wherein the ventilated back comprises two or more concentric circular apertures.

5 . The system of claim 2 wherein the ventilated back comprises at least one arc.

6 . The system of claim 2 wherein the ventilated back comprises at least one cavity.

7 . The system of claim 2 wherein the ventilated back accelerates drying of the at least one folium shaped sponge if the at least one folium shaped sponge is wet.

8 . The system of claim 2 wherein the at least one folium shaped sponge comprises a pointed corner.

9 . The system of claim 1 wherein the remaining cosmetics is from previously applied cosmetics.

10 . The system of claim 1 wherein the folium shaped sponge is made of non-latex foam material.

11 . The system of claim 1 wherein the folium shaped sponge comprises anti-microbial agents thereby inhibiting growth of bacteria inside the folium shaped sponge.

         12 . A method comprising:
providing a folium shaped sponge for absorbing excess oil substances from a skin surface; removing the excess oil substances from the skin surface via the folium shaped sponge being comprised of foam material and through a pressing and lifting motion on the skin surface, wherein the folium shaped sponge comprises an oil absorbent characteristic to remove excess oils from the skin surface without disrupting previously applied cosmetics; smoothing out any remaining cosmetics on the skin surface via a pressing motion following the pressing and lifting motion, wherein the remaining cosmetics is from previously applied cosmetics; and improving appearance of cosmetics on the skin surface based on the removing of the excess oil substances and the smoothing out any remaining cosmetics on the skin surface.

13 . The method of claim 12 further comprising:
determining a set range of angles for applying the folium shaped sponge based on a contact angle between the folium shaped sponge and the skin surface.

14 . The method of claim 13 further comprising:
adjusting placement of different corners of the folium shaped sponge against the skin surface via rotating the folium shaped sponge.

15 . The method of claim 12 further comprising:
reusing the folium shaped sponge subsequent to washing the folium shaped sponge and allowing it to dry.

16 . The method of claim 12 further comprising:
storing the folium shaped sponge in a storage housing, the storage housing comprising a removable lid member and a ventilated back.

17 . The method of claim 16 wherein the ventilated back accelerates drying of the folium shaped sponge if the folium shaped sponge is wet.
