Protective Heel Cover

Abstract

A protective heel cover. The protective heel cover includes a base wherein the base has a straight front edge and a curved rear portion. The base has a side wall rising vertically therefrom. The side wall starts at one side of the straight front edge encircles around the curved rear portion and ends at the opposing side of the straight front edge. The base and the side wall are made from a protective material. There is a strap that is connected to the side wall. The strap will go across the top of a user's food securing the protective heel cover to the user's shoe heel.

I claim: 
     
         1 ) A heel cover, comprising:
 a base affixed to at least one side wall;   a rear portion that is configured to conform to the shape of a heel;   a material placed on the exterior of the heel cover;   a strap configured to secure the heel cover to a wearer attached to the base.   
     
     
         2 ) The heal cover of  claim 1 , wherein the material is a reinforcement layer. 
     
     
         3 ) The heal cover of  claim 1 , wherein the material is on the right rear side of the heel cover opposite the opening. 
     
     
         4 ) The heal cover of  claim 1 , wherein the material is on the left rear side of the heel cover opposite the opening. 
     
     
         5 ) The heal cover of  claim 1 , wherein the base is cushioning material. 
     
     
         6 ) The heal cover of  claim 1 , further comprising a hook and loop fastener on the inside of the heel cover. 
     
     
         7 ) The heal cover of  claim 1 , wherein the strap is a hook and loop strap. 
     
     
         8 ) The heal cover of  claim 1 , wherein the strap is a buckle strap. 
     
     
         9 ) The heal cover of  claim 1 , further comprising a channel on the inside of the heel cover, wherein the channel allows for the heel cover to conform to various heel sizes. 
     
     
         10 ) A heel cover, comprising:
 a base affixed to at least one side wall;   a rear portion that is configured to conform to the shape of a heel;   a material placed on the exterior of the heel cover;   a strap configured to secure the heel cover to a wearer attached to the base;   a channel located and set into the side wall, wherein the channel goes from opening to opening.   
     
     
         11 ) The heal cover of  claim 10 , wherein the material is a reinforcement layer. 
     
     
         12 ) The heal cover of  claim 10 , wherein the material is on the right rear side of the heel cover opposite the opening. 
     
     
         13 ) The heal cover of  claim 10 , wherein the material is on the left rear side of the heel cover opposite the opening. 
     
     
         14 ) The heal cover of  claim 10 , wherein the base is cushioning material. 
     
     
         15 ) The heal cover of  claim 10 , further comprising a hook and loop fastener on the inside of the heel cover. 
     
     
         16 ) The heal cover of  claim 10 , wherein the strap is a hook and loop strap. 
     
     
         17 ) The heal cover of  claim 10 , wherein the strap is a buckle strap.
