Toilet odor elimination

Abstract

The toilet bowl odor eliminator is a device located in the interior of the water tank. It removes malodorous odors from the toilet bowl by a utilizing a fan located in the devices housing to pull odors up through the hole of the toilet bowl. Odors will flow from the toilet hole to a fill tube, which is in direct communication with said hole. Then, the malodorous odor will exit through filter tube. The clean air is then pushed out of the exhaust tube by the fans into the adjacent space. The device is operated by a panel containing an on/off switch and a charging port which is secured to the exterior of the water tank for easy access.

What is claimed: 
     
         1 . A toilet odor elimination device which is mounted within the perimeter of toilets water tank and below the water tank lid of conventional flush toilet. Said water tank is accompanied with a flush operating system, which comprises of a flushing handle connected to chain connected to a flapper in conjunction with the fill tube. When the said handle is actuated it places upward vertical tension on the chain in turn raises the flapper allowing the tanks water to exit the tank and enter the toilet bowl to wash away the human waste, at the same time the water level is lowering this activates the external pressurized water supply line to start flowing in the tube, flowing down the tube into the bowls rim flowing around the bowls rim and exiting the bowls rim through the openings in the bowls rim. This water exiting from the openings in the rim which are located above the bowl, with the results of rinsing/cleaning of the toilet bowl. During non flushing periods this fill tube, which is also indirect communication to the bowl, maintains an open air passage from the water tank to the toilet bowl. The odor elimination device utilizes this passage from toilet bowl, tube and water tank in order to pull the malodorous air up from toilet bowl, through the tube, and into the water tank area. This device which located internally of the water tank being above the stored water level is able to filtering the malodorous odors, which are associated with human waste, from the air confined in the water tank and pushed the filtered air out of this confined into adjacent air space. This prevents these malodorous odors from saturating the adjacent space, individuals and clothing.
 Said toilet odor elimination device comprising:   a airtight riser, with an opening for the filtered air, supports permanently attached to said riser for the device to be mounted to the water tanks upper perimeter and below the tanks lid.   durable lightweight non corrosive housing and supports for the odor eliminator to be attached to said airtight riser   said device consisting of numerous internal compartments, air intake, replaceable air filtration, micro fans, batteries and air exhaust tube   an operating panel mounted externally on the water tank easy access. This device has easy access to change the filter if needed, also the operating panel contains an on/off rocker switch accompanying with a charging port.   airtight riser means a thin vertical flexible non corrosive material which is secured with a thin double sided foam adhesive strip to the top perimeter of said water tank in conjunction with a thin foam strip permanently secured on the top of the that the water tank lid will rest on, both of which will ensure the encompassed area within said water tank is airtight. The riser component shall incorporate, centered at the midpoints of each of the four (4) water tank vertical walls, a minimum of two (2) u shaped thin brackets to allow the bracket header to straddle them in order to allow the device to be located in its planned position   
     
     
         2 . replaceable air filtration means a hollow tube constructed of thin lightweight non corrosive material which shall enclose the malodorous removing filter material, the tube shall have both ends manufactured with permanently attached non corrosive mesh material to enclose the filter material within. The said mesh will allow malodorous air to be pulled into then through and then pushed out by the micro fans normal operation, Said tube shall have a thin gasket permanently attached around the tubes cross sectional perimeter near each end, each gasket shall be uniformly spaced from the tube ends, when the tube is secured in its defined compartment the gaskets ensures the confined malodorous air must pass into, through, and out being filtered clean air. 
     
     
         3 . Micro fans refer to the terminology used in today's market, said fans having the advancement in technology and manufacturing with the results producing fans with low power consumption, small size, and higher air movement capabilities which are used in this device 
     
     
         4 . This device may be used with the omission of the said riser and its various components but in conjunction with a minimal modification by a manufacturer to produce a toilet having vertically extended water tank walls to accommodate this device
