Abstract
A composition comprising from about 0.001% to about 0.4% cyclosporin A, a surfactant, and an oil having a specific gravity from 0.8 to 0.95 is disclosed herein.

A method of treating keratoconjunctivis sicca, the method comprising administering a composition comprising from about 0.001% to about 0.4% cyclosporin A, a surfactant, and an oil having a specific gravity from 0.8 to 0.95 to a patient in need thereof, wherein said composition is an ophthalmically acceptable emulsion.
2 . The method of claim 1 wherein said oil has a specific gravity of from 0.90 to 0.95.
