Compression apparel with accessory pockets

Abstract

A garment includes a waist band and a pair of leg sleeves. The garment is made of an elastic material, such as woven elastane fibers so that the garment is skintight. The waist band of the present invention includes an inner pocket and an outer pocket that overlap one another. The outer pocket may be defined by a first panel and the inner pocket may be defined by a second panel. The first panel and the second panel may also be made of the elastic material. The inner pocket may store a firearm and the outer pocket may store a card to cover the trigger guard and prevent accidental discharge of the firearm.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A garment comprising:
 a waist band comprising a lower rim, an upper rim opposite the lower rim, an outer surface, and an inner surface opposite the outer surface;   a pair of leg sleeves extending downward from the lower rim of the waist band, wherein the waist band and the pair of leg sleeves are made of an elastic material;   a first panel comprising a first side, a second side, and a bottom stitched to the waist band, wherein at least a portion of a top of the first panel is separated from the waist band and defines an opening leading into an outer pocket defined in between the first panel and the waist band; and   a second panel comprising a first side and a second side stitched to the first panel, wherein at least a portion of a top of the second panel is separated from the first panel and defines a top opening leading into an inner pocket defined in between the second panel and the first panel.   
     
     
         2 . The garment of  claim 1 , wherein at least a portion of a bottom of the second panel is separated from the first panel and defines a bottom opening leading out of the inner pocket. 
     
     
         3 . The garment of  claim 2 , wherein the top opening of the inner pocket is larger than the bottom opening of the inner pocket. 
     
     
         4 . The garment of  claim 3 , wherein the stitching of the second panel to the first panel is angled towards one another to define a conical shaped pocket. 
     
     
         5 . The garment of  claim 1 , wherein the first panel and the second panel are made of the elastic material. 
     
     
         6 . A garment comprising:
 a waist band comprising a lower rim, an upper rim opposite the lower rim, an outer surface, and an inner surface opposite the outer surface, wherein the waist band comprises an inner pocket and an outer pocket that overlap one another, wherein the inner pocket defines a conical shape; and   a pair of leg sleeves extending downward from the lower rim of the waist band, wherein the waist band and the pair of leg sleeves are made of an elastic material.   
     
     
         7 . The garment of  claim 6 , wherein the inner pocket and the outer pocket are defined by a first panel and a second panel stitched to the waist band, wherein the first panel and the second panel are made of the elastic material. 
     
     
         8 . A method of concealing a firearm in a garment comprising steps of:
 wearing a garment, the garment comprising: a waist band comprising an inner pocket and an outer pocket overlapping one another; and a pair of leg sleeves extending downward from the waist band, wherein the waist band and the pair of leg sleeves are made of an elastic material;   placing a firearm into the inner pocket; and   placing a card into the outer pocket so that the card covers a trigger guard of the firearm.   
     
     
         9 . The method of  claim 8 , wherein the inner pocket comprises a top opening and a bottom opening, wherein the top opening is larger than the bottom opening. 
     
     
         10 . The method of  claim 9 , wherein the second pocket defines a conical shape.
