Cosmetic product refill in the form of an aqueous composition for a hair treatment device

Abstract

The invention relates to a cosmetic product refill ( 20 ) for a hair treatment device ( 1 ), comprising an applicator member ( 26 ) saturated with an aqueous composition, wherein the applicator member has a density of between 0.11 and 0.25 g/cm 3 and the aqueous composition has a viscosity of between 4, preferably 5, and 100 centipoise, at 22° C. The invention also relates to a hair treatment device provided with such a refill.

         21 . A cosmetic product refill for a hair treatment device, comprising an applicator member saturated with an aqueous composition, wherein the applicator member has a density of between 0.11 and 0.25 g/cm 3  and the aqueous composition has a viscosity of between 4 and 250 centipoises. 
     
     
         22 . The cosmetic product refill as claimed in  claim 21 , wherein the aqueous composition has a viscosity of between 4 and 100 centipoises. 
     
     
         23 . The cosmetic product refill as claimed in  claim 21 , wherein the applicator member is porous. 
     
     
         24 . The cosmetic product refill as claimed in  claim 21 , wherein the applicator member has a density of between 0.11 and 0.15 g/cm 3  and the aqueous composition has a viscosity greater than 20 centipoise and/or less than 25 centipoise, at 22° C. 
     
     
         25 . The cosmetic product refill as claimed in  claim 21 , wherein the applicator member is a felt. 
     
     
         26 . The cosmetic product refill as claimed in  claim 25 , wherein the fibers of the applicator member are oriented parallel or perpendicularly to the surface intended to be in contact with the hair to be treated. 
     
     
         27 . The cosmetic product refill as claimed in  claim 26 , wherein the fibers are oriented in a longitudinal direction of the applicator member, parallel to the surface intended to be in contact with the hair to be treated. 
     
     
         28 . The cosmetic product refill as claimed in  claim 21 , wherein the applicator member is made of polyethylene, of polypropylene, or of a mixture of polyethylene and polypropylene. 
     
     
         29 . The cosmetic product refill as claimed in  claim 21 , wherein the applicator member is soaked with aqueous composition with an initial degree of filling less than or equal to 90%. 
     
     
         30 . The cosmetic product refill as claimed in  claim 21 , wherein the applicator member is soaked with aqueous composition with an initial degree of filling greater than or equal to 40%. 
     
     
         31 . The cosmetic product refill as claimed in  claim 21 , wherein the applicator member is secured to a reservoir of aqueous composition to be applied to the hair to be treated. 
     
     
         32 . The cosmetic product refill as claimed in  claim 31 , wherein the applicator member and the reservoir are saturated with a volume of aqueous composition greater than 6 ml. 
     
     
         33 . The cosmetic product refill as claimed in  claim 21 , wherein the applicator member is saturated with a volume of aqueous composition greater than 6 ml. 
     
     
         34 . The cosmetic product refill as claimed in  claim 21 , wherein the applicator member has an elongate shape, with a rectangular or cruciform cross section, with a flat, pointed or rounded end that is intended to be in contact with the hair to be treated, and/or with one or two bevels. 
     
     
         35 . The cosmetic product refill as claimed in  claim 21 , comprising a body delimiting a cavity that is formed at least partially by two opposite walls and a bottom and opens toward the outside by way of an opening, said applicator member being partially received in said cavity and extending partially out of the cavity, through the opening.

The cosmetic product refill as claimed in  claim 21 , wherein the aqueous composition comprises one or more non-silicone surfactants and/or one or more silicone compounds, the non-silicone surfactant(s) being chosen from anionic, cationic, nonionic or amphoteric surfactants. 
     
     
         37 . The cosmetic product refill as claimed in  claim 36 , wherein the non-silicone surfactant(s) and/or the silicone compound(s) are present in the aqueous composition in a content of between 0.01 and 10% by weight, relative to the total weight of the aqueous composition. 
     
     
         38 . The cosmetic product refill as claimed in  claim 21 , wherein the aqueous composition comprises one or more fatty substances and/or one or more non-silicone polymers. 
     
     
         39 . The cosmetic product refill as claimed in  claim 21 , wherein the aqueous composition is in the form of an emulsion. 
     
     
         40 . A cosmetic product refill article comprising a closed package and at least one cosmetic product refill as claimed in  claim 21 , in the package. 
     
     
         41 . A hair treatment device comprising:
 at least one holder, preferably an arm comprising a housing,   a cosmetic product refill as claimed in  claim 21 , which is disposed in a removable manner in the housing.   
     
     
         42 . The device as claimed in  claim 41 , comprising at least one heating element. 
     
     
         43 . The hair treatment device as claimed in  claim 41 , being a hair straightener. 
     
     
         44 . A method for treating the hair, comprising the step of applying a cosmetic product to the hair using a device as claimed in  claim 41 .
