Abstract
A ratchet disc assembly comprises a plurality of stacked ratchet discs defining an interior rising thread path. Each ratchet disc comprises a base and a plurality of thread portions rising from the base. Each of the plurality of thread portions is separated from each other by a slot and an inner surface of each thread portion is threaded to form a section of the rising thread path.

a plurality of ratchet discs stacked together to form the ratchet disc assembly defining a rising thread path, each ratchet disc comprising,
a base comprising a circular circumference, and
a plurality of thread portions rising from the base to form a truncated pyramid shape, each of the plurality of thread portions separated from each other by a slot configured to enable the plurality of thread portion to flex, wherein an inner surface of each thread portion is threaded to form a section of the rising thread path.
2 . The ratchet disc assembly of claim 1 , wherein the circular circumference of the base comprises a flat section.
3 . The ratchet disc assembly of claim 2 , wherein the flat section is configured to act as an orientation indicator.
4 . The ratchet disc assembly of claim 1 , wherein the rising thread path comprises one of a single lead, double lead, or triple lead thread path.
5 . The ratchet disc assembly of claim 1 , wherein each ratchet disc comprises three thread portions, each thread portion comprising a 120 degree portion of the section of the rising thread path.
6 . A ratchet disc assembly comprising:
a plurality of stacked ratchet discs defining a rising thread path, each ratchet disc comprising,
a base, and
a plurality of thread portions rising from the base, wherein each of the plurality of thread portions is separated from each other by a slot, wherein an inner surface of each thread portion is threaded to form a section of the rising thread path.
7 . The ratchet disc assembly of claim 6 , wherein the plurality of thread portions rising from the base form a truncated pyramid shape.
8 . The ratchet disc assembly of claim 1 , wherein the base has a circular circumference having a flat section.
9 . The ratchet disc assembly of claim 6 , wherein the base comprises a circular circumference with a flat portion.
10 . The ratchet disc assembly of claim 9 , wherein the flat portion is configured to act as an orientation indicator.
11 . The ratchet disc assembly of claim 6 , wherein the rising thread path comprises one of a single lead, double lead, or triple lead thread path.
12 . The ratchet disc assembly of claim 6 , wherein each ratchet disc comprises three thread portions, each thread portion comprising a 120 degree portion of the section of the thread path.
13 . A ratchet disc assembly comprising:
a plurality of ratchet discs stacked together to form the ratchet disc assembly defining a rising thread path, each ratchet disc comprising,
a base, and

14 . The ratchet disc assembly of claim 13 , wherein the plurality of thread portions rising from the base form a truncated pyramid shape.
15 . The ratchet disc assembly of claim 13 , wherein the base has a circular circumference having a flat section.
16 . The ratchet disc assembly of claim 13 , wherein the base comprises a circular circumference with a flat portion.
17 . The ratchet disc assembly of claim 15 , wherein the flat section is configured to act as an orientation indicator.
18 . The ratchet disc assembly of claim 13 , wherein the rising thread path comprises one of a single lead, double lead, or triple lead thread path.
