Packaging assembly for direct mailing home security devices

Abstract

The present disclosure provides a packaging assembly for mailing a home security device by direct mail package. The packaging assembly includes an envelope. The envelope includes a first panel, a second panel and a seal flap. The seal flap is affixed on a first side of the first panel. The envelope provides space for encapsulating a foam cushioning. The foam cushioning is characterized by a cuboidal shape. The envelope encapsulates the home security device. The home security device includes a protective housing encapsulating a plurality of electrical components. The rectangular pocket on the second face of the foam cushioning receives the home security device. The envelop encapsulates a first layer. The first layer covers the first face of the foam cushioning. The envelope encapsulates a second layer. The second layer covers the second section of the second face of the foam cushioning and a segment of the home security device.

We claim: 
     
         1 . A packaging assembly for mailing home security device by direct mail package, the packaging assembly comprising:
 an envelope, wherein the envelope is having a first panel, a second panel and a seal flap, wherein the seal flap is affixed on a first side of the first panel, wherein the envelope provides space for encapsulating:
 a foam cushioning, wherein the foam cushioning is characterized by a cuboidal shape, wherein the foam cushioning having a first face and a second face, wherein the second face having a first section and a second section, wherein the first section of the second face is a rectangular pocket; 
 a home security device, wherein the home security device having a protective housing encapsulating a plurality of electrical components, wherein the home security device is characterized by a substantially cuboidal shape, wherein the home security device is placed in the rectangular pocket on the second face of the foam cushioning, wherein size of the rectangular pocket is identical to size of the home security device, wherein the home security device is characterized by a length, a width, a height and a weight; 
 a first layer, wherein the first layer covers the first face of the foam cushioning; and 
 a second layer, wherein the second layer covers the second section of the second face of the foam cushioning and a segment of the home security device embedded in the rectangular pocket of the second face of the foam cushioning, 
   wherein the packaging assembly complies with a plurality of requirements of direct mail packages.   
     
     
         2 . The packaging assembly as recited in  claim 1 , further comprising one or more first inserts, wherein the one or more first inserts are positioned between the second layer and the envelope, wherein each of the one or more first inserts is a printed paper. 
     
     
         3 . The packaging assembly as recited in  claim 1 , wherein the envelope is having one or more indicia, wherein the one or more indicia are at one or more positions, wherein the one or more positions comprising the seal flap and the second panel of the envelope, wherein the envelope is having a branding section, wherein the branding section is on the first panel. 
     
     
         4 . The packaging assembly as recited in  claim 1 , wherein the length of the home security device is 9±0.5 centimeters. 
     
     
         5 . The packaging assembly as recited in  claim 1 , wherein the width of the home security device assembly is 3.9±0.5 centimeters. 
     
     
         6 . The packaging assembly as recited in  claim 1 , wherein the height of the home security device assembly is 1.8±0.5 centimeters. 
     
     
         7 . The packaging assembly as recited in  claim 1 , wherein the weight of the home security device assembly is 67.2±1.0 gram. 
     
     
         8 . The packaging assembly as recited in  claim 1 , wherein the plurality of requirements of direct mail packages comprising one or more aspect ratio requirements, one or more flexibility requirements, one or more weight requirements, one or more dimension requirements and one or more auxiliary requirements. 
     
     
         9 . The packaging assembly as recited in  claim 1 , further comprising one or more second inserts, wherein the one or more second inserts are positioned between the second layer and the envelope, wherein each of the one or more second inserts is selected from a group, wherein the group comprising coupons, offers, discounts and deals. 
     
     
         10 . The packaging assembly as recited in  claim 1 , wherein the foam cushioning is formed of polyethylene foam. 
     
     
         11 . The packaging assembly as recited in  claim 1 , wherein the home security device comprising one or more sensors, wherein each of the one or more sensors is selected from a group, wherein the group comprising motion sensor, glass break sensor, door open/close sensor, window open close sensor and tamper detection sensor.
