Abstract
The application discloses pharmaceutical compounds of formula I useful for treating CNS diseases wherein m, s, R 1 R 5 , R 6 and R 7 are as defined herein.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWe claim:
1 . A method for treating a central nervous system disease mediated by the 5-HT 6 receptor wherein the disease is selected from the group consisting of state selected from psychoses, schizophrenia, manic depressions, neurological disorders, attention deficit disorder, Parkinson's disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, food uptake disorders, and Huntington's disease, wherein the method comprises administering to said subject in need there a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of formula (I)
wherein:
m is 0 or 1;
s is 0 to 2;
R 7 is halo, alkyl, alkoxy, haloalkyl, hydroxy, cyano or methanesulfonyl;
R 1 is halo;
one of R 5 and R 6 is hydrogen or alkyl, and other of R 5 and R 6 is hydrogen, alkyl, alkylcarbonyl, alkylsulfonyl, aminocarbonyl, alkylaminocarbonyl, dialkylaminocarbonyl or amidinyl; or,
a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
2 . The method of claim 1 wherein m is 0, s is 1, R 7 is 3-fluoro, R 5 is hydrogen and R 6 is acetyl, aminocarbonyl or methylsulfonyl or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt.
3 . The method of claim 1 wherein the compound is (R)-[6-(3-fluoro-benzenesulfonyl)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-naphthalen-1-ylmethyl]-urea or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt.
4 . The method of claim 3 , wherein the central nervous system disease state is depression.
5 . The method of claim 3 , wherein the central nervous system disease state is a memory disorder.
6 . The method of claim 3 , wherein the central nervous system disease state is Parkinson's disease.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
