Abstract
A mechanism for mounting an electronic device to a ceiling or a wall includes a fixing seat with a mounting hole, a trigger button in the mounting hole, two clamping members slidably connected to the fixing seat, and two first elastic members. The clamping members abut opposing ends of the first positioning portion when the trigger button is at a first position, and the clamping members move toward each other by a resilient force when the trigger button moves toward the second position. In a second position two ends of the fixing member are clamped, thereby the electronic device is mounted firmly and stably to the fixing member. An electronic device having the mounting mechanism is also disclosed.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A mounting mechanism equipped on an electronic device and configured for mounting to the electronic device to a fixing member, the mounting mechanism comprising:
a fixing seat comprising a mounting hole; a trigger button movably received in the mounting hole and comprising a first positioning portion and a second positioning portion protruding out of the first positioning portion; two clamping members slidably connected to two sides of the fixing seat, one end of each of the clamping members toward the trigger button comprising a clamping part; and two first elastic members, each of the two first elastic members being connected between a corresponding one of the clamping members and the fixing seat; wherein when the trigger button is arranged at a first position, the two clamping members abut against opposing ends of the first positioning portion, and the two first elastic members are stretched; and wherein when the trigger button moving toward a second position from the first position, the two clamping members move toward each other by a resilient force provided by the two first elastic members, and the two clamping members abut against opposing ends of the second positioning portion and clamp two ends of the fixing member, thereby the electronic device is mounted to the fixing member.

The mounting mechanism of claim 1 , wherein an inner wall of the mounting hole defines two sliding holes opposing to each other, the first positioning portion comprises two sliding protrusions, the two sliding protrusions are arranged at opposing sides of the first positioning portion, and each of the two sliding protrusions is slidably positioned in a corresponding one of the sliding holes.
3 . The mounting mechanism of claim 1 , wherein the first positioning portion and the second positioning portion are circular and concentric, and a radius of the second positioning portion is less than a radius of the first positioning portion.

The mounting mechanism of claim 1 , wherein the mounting mechanism further comprises two second elastic members positioned between the trigger button and the fixing seat; the trigger button further comprises two extending portions protruding out of the first positioning portion, the two extending portions extend from two ends of the second positioning portion and extend out of the first positioning portion, each end of the two extending portions defines a receiving groove on the side toward the fixing seat, and each of the second elastic members is positioned in the receiving groove.
5 . The mounting mechanism of claim 4 , wherein the first elastic member provides a resilient force in a direction that is perpendicular to a direction in which the second elastic member provides another resilient force.

The mounting mechanism of claim 1 , wherein the clamping part comprises a first clamping piece and a second clamping piece, the first clamping piece is slidably arranged on the fixing seat, the second clamping piece is arranged at one side of the first clamping piece away from the fixing seat, and the first clamping piece and the second clamping piece are parallel and distant from each other.
7 . The mounting mechanism of claim 6 , wherein a length of the second clamping piece is greater than a length of the first clamping piece, and a length difference between the first clamping piece and the second clamping piece is smaller than a radius of the second positioning portion.
8 . The mounting mechanism of claim 1 , wherein the clamping member further comprises a sliding part and a holding part, the sliding part is connected between the clamping part and the holding part, and the sliding part is connected to the fixing seat and is adapted for sliding on the fixing seat; and
wherein the holding part comprises a connecting portion located away farther from the fixing seat than the sliding part, and the mounting mechanism further comprises a fastening member screwed into the connecting portion and the electronic device to connect the mounting mechanism to the electronic device.
9 . The mounting mechanism of claim 8 , wherein the holding part further comprises a hand lifting portion arranged so as to incline to the sliding part.
10 . The mounting mechanism of claim 1 , wherein the second positioning portion of the trigger button comprises a trigger bar on one side toward the fixing seat, and the trigger bar is configured for extending into the electronic device and connecting to an inductive switch of the electronic device.
11 . An electronic device, comprising:
a mounting mechanism, the mounting mechanism comprising: a fixing seat comprising a mounting hole; a trigger button movably received in the mounting hole and comprising a first positioning portion and a second positioning portion protruding out of the first positioning portion; two clamping members slidably connected to two sides of the fixing seat, one end of each of the clamping members toward the trigger button comprising a clamping part; and
two first elastic members, each of the two first elastic members being connected between a corresponding one of the clamping members and the fixing seat;
wherein when the trigger button is arranged at a first position, the two clamping members abut against opposing ends of the first positioning portion, and the two first elastic members are stretched; and
wherein when the trigger button moving toward a second position from the first position, the two clamping members move toward each other by a resilient force provided by the two first elastic members, and the two clamping members abut against opposing ends of the second positioning portion and clamp two ends of the fixing member, thereby the electronic device is mounted to the fixing member.
12 . The electronic device of claim 11 , wherein the electronic device comprises a first housing, a second housing connected to the first housing, and a circuit board received in a space formed by the first housing and the second housing, and the circuit board comprises an inductive switch.
13 . The electronic device of claim 12 , wherein the second positioning portion of the trigger button comprises a trigger bar on one side toward the fixing seat, and the trigger bar is configured for extending into the electronic device and connecting to the inductive switch of the electronic device.
14 . The electronic device of claim 13 , wherein when the trigger bar pushes the inductive switch towards or away from the inductive switch, the inductive switch transmits a signal to the circuit board, and the circuit board sends out an alert signal as an antitheft measure.
15 . The electronic device of claim 11 , wherein an inner wall of the mounting hole defines two sliding holes opposing to each other, the first positioning portion comprises two sliding protrusions, the two sliding protrusions are arranged at opposing sides of the first positioning portion, and each of the two sliding protrusions is slidably positioned in a corresponding one of the sliding holes.
16 . The electronic device of claim 11 , wherein the first positioning portion and the second positioning portion are circular and concentric, and a radius of the second positioning portion is less than a radius of the first positioning portion.
17 . The electronic device of claim 11 , wherein the mounting mechanism further comprises two second elastic members positioned between the trigger button and the fixing seat; the trigger button further comprises two extending portions protruding out of the first positioning portion, the two extending portions extend from two ends of the second positioning portion and extend out of the first positioning portion, each end of the two extending portions defines a receiving groove on the side toward the fixing seat, and each of the second elastic members is positioned in the receiving groove.
18 . The electronic device of claim 17 , wherein the first elastic member provides a resilient force in a direction that is perpendicular to a direction in which the second elastic member provides another resilient force.
19 . The electronic device of claim 11 , wherein the clamping part comprises a first clamping piece and a second clamping piece, the first clamping piece is slidably arranged on the fixing seat, the second clamping piece is arranged at one side of the first clamping piece away from the fixing seat, and the first clamping piece and the second clamping piece are parallel and distant from each other.
20 . The electronic device of claim 11 , wherein the clamping member further comprises a sliding part and a holding part, the sliding part is connected between the clamping part and the holding part, and the sliding part is connected to the fixing seat and is adapted for sliding on the fixing seat; and
