Electronic device and method of processing information in electronic device

Abstract

An apparatus for processing information of an electronic document includes: a display unit configured to display at least one recommended item indicating user interest information in a first electronic document, and a controller configured to provide to the display unit for displaying the at least one recommended item in the first electronic document based on user information collected from the first electronic document, and to provide to the display unit for displaying user interest information through a function corresponding to a selected item of the at least one recommended item.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An electronic device comprising:
 a display;   a memory; and   a processor configured to:
 display a region corresponding to a specific gesture, if the specific gesture is detected in an electronic document while displaying the electronic document on the display; and 
 display at least one recommended item in the region. 
   
     
     
         2 . The electronic device of  claim 1 , wherein the region is displayed on the electronic document in an overlaid form. 
     
     
         3 . The electronic device of  claim 1 , wherein the region is displayed in a separate window form separately from the electronic document. 
     
     
         4 . The electronic device of  claim 1 , wherein the processor configured to display a region from a lower portion where the touch is detected to an upper portion where the specific gesture is detected as the region displaying the at least one recommended item, when the specific gesture is detected at the upper portion of the display after a touch is detected at the lower portion of the display. 
     
     
         5 . The electronic device of  claim 1 , wherein the processor configured to display a region from a left portion where the touch is detected to a right portion where the specific gesture is detected as the region displaying the at least one recommended item, when the specific gesture is detected at the right portion of the display after a touch is detected at the left portion of the display. 
     
     
         6 . The electronic device of  claim 1 , wherein the processor is configured to display the at least one recommended item on the electronic document based on provision of a button while displaying the electronic document on the display. 
     
     
         7 . The electronic device of  claim 1 , wherein the processor is configured to:
 collect user information related to the electronic document based on a object selected by a user input among at least one object included in the electronic document displayed on the display;   generate a user information table of the electronic document based on the collected user information; and   detect the at least one recommended item based on the user information table of the electronic document.   
     
     
         8 . A method of processing information of an electronic device, the method comprising:
 displaying a region corresponding to a specific gesture, if the specific gesture is detected in an electronic document while displaying the electronic document on the display; and   displaying at least one recommended item in the region.   
     
     
         9 . The method of  claim 8 , wherein the region is displayed on the electronic document in an overlaid form. 
     
     
         10 . The method of  claim 8 , wherein the region is displayed in a separate window form separately from the electronic document. 
     
     
         11 . The method of  claim 8 , the displaying of the region comprises:
 displaying a region from a lower portion where the touch is detected to an upper portion where the specific gesture is detected as the region displaying the at least one recommended item, when the specific gesture is detected at the upper portion of the display after a touch is detected at the lower portion of the display.   
     
     
         12 . The method of  claim 8 , the displaying of the region comprises:
 displaying a region from a left portion where the touch is detected to a right portion where the specific gesture is detected as the region displaying the at least one recommended item, when the specific gesture is detected at the right portion of the display after a touch is detected at the left portion of the display.   
     
     
         13 . The method of  claim 8 , further comprising:
 displaying the at least one recommended item on the electronic document based on provision of a button while displaying the electronic document on the display.   
     
     
         14 . The method of  claim 9 , further comprising:
 collecting user information related to the electronic document based on a object selected by a user input among at least one object included in the electronic document displayed on the display;   generating a user information table of the electronic document based on the collected user information; and   detecting the at least one recommended item based on the user information table of the electronic document.
