1 - 35 . (canceled)

         36 . A system for delivering a fluid to a patient, comprising:
 a delivery device including,
a reservoir storing the fluid to be infused,
a fluidic pathway in fluidic communication with the reservoir,
a pumping device configured to move the fluid from the reservoir to a body of the patient, and
 a sensor configured to monitor at least one parameter associated with the operation of the system;
a processor; an infusion set in fluidic communication with the fluidic pathway and configured to infuse the fluid into the body of the patient; and an indication device configured to provide information to the patient, wherein the processor is configured to, receive the signal from the sensor, determine a status of the infusion set based on the signal of the sensor, and inform the patient via the indication device about a status of the infusion set.

37 . The system according to the claim 36 , wherein the processor configured to prompt a change of the infusion set.

38 . The system according to the claim 36 , wherein the infusion set is removably coupled to the delivery device.

39 . The system according to the claim 36 , wherein the indication device is configured to display information corresponding to a quality of the infusion set, and/or a characteristic of the infusion site, and/or a fluidic resistance at the infusion site, and/or a remaining time before a change of the infusion set.

40 . The system according to the claim 36 , wherein the indication device is configured to display a color index depending on the status of the infusion set.

41 . The system according to the claim 36 , wherein the indication device includes a screen.

42 . The system according to the claim 41 , wherein the screen is configured to display a home page that is configured to display a status of the infusion set.

43 . The system according to the claim 36 , wherein the processor is configured to suggest a behavior to the patient via the indication device.

44 . The system according to the claim 36 , wherein the processor is configured to analyze a fluidic resistance in the fluid pathway based on the signal of the sensor and to determine a failure of the infusion set based on the analyzing of the signal of the sensor.

45 . The system according to the claim 36 , wherein the sensor is configured to measure the fluid pressure in the fluidic pathway.

46 . The system according to the claim 45 , wherein the processor is configured to analyze a fluid pressure in the fluidic pathway and to determine a failure of the infusion set based on the analyzing of the fluid pressure.

47 . The system according to the claim 36 , wherein the infusion set includes a transcutaneous device configured to be inserted into the body of the patient.

48 . A method for detecting a failure of an infusion set of a delivery system, the delivery system including,
a reservoir storing the fluid to be infused to a body of a patient, a fluidic pathway in fluidic communication with the reservoir, a pumping device configured to move the fluid from the reservoir to the body of the patient, a pressure sensor configured to monitor the fluid pressure in the fluidic pathway, and an infusion set having a transcutaneous device in fluidic communication with the fluidic pathway and configured to infuse the fluid into the body of the patient, wherein the method comprises the steps of: receiving the pressure signal from the sensor; analyzing fluid pressure in the fluidic pathway; determining a failure of the infusion set based on the step of analyzing; and prompting a change of the infusion set when the step of determining has determined the failure.

49 . The method according to the claim 48 , wherein the system further includes an indication device configured to provide information to the patient, the method further comprising a step of
displaying information corresponding to a quality of the infusion set, and/or a characteristic of the infusion site, and/or a fluidic resistance at the infusion site, and/or a remaining time before a change of the infusion set.

50 . The method according to the claim 49 , wherein the step of displaying includes a displaying a color index which is be red, orange or red depending on a status of the infusion set.

51 . The method according to the claim 49 , further comprising a step of:
suggesting a behavior to the patient with the indication device.

52 . The method according to the claim 36 , further comprising a step of:
analyzing a fluidic resistance in the fluid pathway based on the signal of the sensor and determining a failure of the infusion set based on the analyzing.
