Abstract

A use and method of L-aspartic acid β-hydroxamate in preparing drugs for inhibiting choroidal neovascularization, achieving the effect of inhibiting the secretion of VEGF and MCP-1 by RPE which was induced with TNFα and thus inhibiting choroidal neovascularization, by injecting L-aspartic acid β-hydroxamate intravenously, and without severe side effects including retinal and choroidal atrophy, retinal detachment and intraocular infection induced by repeated intravitreal injections of anti-VEGF antibodies.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A use of L-aspartic acid β-hydroxamate in preparing drugs for inhibiting choroidal neovascularization. 
     
     
         2 . The use of L-aspartic acid β-hydroxamate in preparing drugs for inhibiting choroidal neovascularization according to  claim 1 , wherein a use of the L-aspartic acid β-hydroxamate in preparing intravenous drugs for inhibiting choroidal neovascularization. 
     
     
         3 . The use of L-aspartic acid β-hydroxamate in preparing drugs for inhibiting choroidal neovascularization according to  claim 1 , wherein the first dosage of L-aspartic acid β-hydroxamate in the intravenous drugs for inhibiting choroidal neovascularization is 6 mg/kg by weight of the treated subject, and the second dosage is 3 mg/kg. 
     
     
         4 . A method of treating choroidal neovascularization, wherein the method includes injecting L-aspartic acid β-hydroxamate, a first dosage injected is 6 mg/kg by weight of the treated subject, and a second dosage injected is 3 mg/kg. 
     
     
         5 . The method of treating choroidal neovascularization according to  claim 4 , wherein the injection is intravenous injection. 
     
     
         6 . The method of treating choroidal neovascularization according to  claim 4 , wherein the second dosage is 3 mg/kg of L-aspartic acid β-hydroxamate injected for the second time by weight of the treated subject, 3 days after the first injection of L-aspartic acid β-hydroxamate.
