Claims

Abstract

An apparatus includes a sensor array and a grow light array. The sensor array is configured to determine a light spectrum sense parameter based (at least in part) on output(s) of one or more sensors of the sensor array. The grow light array is configured to adjust a spectrum of light output from the grow light array based at least in part on the light spectrum sense parameter. The grow light array includes at least one grow light having an output that is adjusted when the spectrum of light output from the grow light array is adjusted. The grow light is configured to provide a light output incident upon the sensor(s). One or both of the sensor(s) and the grow light are movable such that the grow light is movable in relation to the sensor(s) and/or the sensor(s) are movable in relation to the grow light.

1 . An apparatus, comprising:
 a sensor array comprising a sensor and configured to determine a light spectrum sense parameter based at least in part on an output of the sensor; and   a grow light array comprising a grow light and configured to adjust a spectrum of light output from the grow light array based at least in part on the light spectrum sense parameter such that adjusting the spectrum of light includes adjusting an output of the grow light,   wherein the grow light is configured to provide a light output incident upon the sensor, and   wherein at least one of the sensor and the grow light is movable in relation to the other.   
     
     
         2 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , where in the sensor is movable independent of the grow light. 
     
     
         3 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a computer operatively coupled to the grow light array and configured to determine a location parameter of each grow light of the grow light array, the location parameter corresponding to the location of a corresponding grow light,   the grow light array being configured to adjust the spectrum of light output from the grow light array based at least in part on the location parameter of each grow light.   
     
     
         4 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a computer operatively coupled to the grow light array and configured to determine a location parameter of each grow light of the grow light array, the location parameter corresponding to the location of a corresponding grow light,   the grow light array being configured to adjust an intensity of light output from each grow light based at least in part on the location parameter of each grow light.   
     
     
         5 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a computer operatively coupled to the sensor array and the grow light array and configured to receive the light spectrum sense parameter and provide a grow light signal to the grow light array,   the grow light signal indicative of the light spectrum sense parameter and a desired light spectrum sense parameter, and   the grow light signal being configured to cause the grow light array to adjust the spectrum of light output based at least in part on the light spectrum sense parameter and the desired light spectrum sense parameter.   
     
     
         6 . The apparatus of  claim 5 , wherein the sensor is affixed in relation to the computer and operatively coupled to the computer

 wherein the computer is configured to generate a digital light spectrum map corresponding to the light spectrum sense parameter as a function of position   
     
     
         8 . The apparatus of  claim 7 , wherein the computer is further configured to adjust the digital light spectrum map in response to adjusting a position of the grow light. 
     
     
         9 . The apparatus of  claim 5 ,
 wherein the sensor array is further configured to determine a light intensity sense parameter as a function of position, and   wherein the computer is configured to generate a digital light intensity map corresponding to the light intensity sense parameter as a function of position, and, wherein the computer is further configured to adjust the digital light intensity map in response to adjusting a position grow lights of the grow light array.   
     
     
         10 . An apparatus, comprising:
 a grow light array comprising a plurality of grow lights; and   a computer operatively coupled to the grow light array and configured to:   determine a location parameter of each grow light of the grow light array, the location parameter corresponding to the location of a corresponding grow light, and   generate a digital location map corresponding to the location parameters.   
     
     
         11 . The apparatus of  claim 10 , further comprising:
 a sensor array operatively coupled to the computer and configured to determine a light spectrum sense parameter at each of a plurality of positions,   wherein the computer is configured to generate a digital light spectrum map based at least in part on the light spectrum sense parameter as a function of position.   
     
     
         12 . The apparatus of  claim 11 , wherein an area defined by positions of the digital light spectrum map at least partially overlaps an area defined by locations of the digital location map. 
     
     
         13 . The apparatus of  claim 11 , wherein at least one of a sensor in the sensory array and a grow light in the grow light array are movable in relation to each other to cause a change in the digital light spectrum map. 
     
     
         14 . The apparatus of  claim 10 , wherein the computer is further configured to adjust the digital location map in response to adjusting the location of at least one grow light of the grow light array 
     
     
         15 . The apparatus of  claim 10 , wherein the computer determines the location parameter of each grow light in the grow light array using trilateralization. 
     
     
         16 . An apparatus, comprising:
 a grow light array comprising a plurality of grow lights; and   a computer operatively coupled to the grow light array and configured to:   determine a location parameter of each grow light of the grow light array, the location parameter corresponding to the location of a corresponding grow light, and   generate a digital light intensity map comprising an intensity of light output from the grow light array and a function of position.   
     
     
         17 . The apparatus of  claim 16 , wherein the computer is further configured to cause the grow light array to adjust intensity of light output from the plurality of grow lights to drive the digital light intensity map to match a desired light intensity map. 
     
     
         18 . The apparatus of  claim 16 , wherein the computer is further configured to generate a digital location map corresponding to the location parameters. 
     
     
         19 . The apparatus of  claim 18 , wherein an area defined by locations of the digital location map at least partially overlaps an area defined by positions of the digital light intensity map. 
     
     
         20 . The apparatus of  claim 18 , wherein the digital location map is adjusted in response to adjusting the location of at least one grow light of the grow light array.
