Cigarette ash catching assembly
Abstract
A cigarette ash catching assembly a housing that has a first end, a second end, and a perimeter wall extending between the first and second ends. The first end has a well extending therein. The well extends toward and is spaced from the second end such that the second end forms a closed wall. The well defines a cigarette receiving space. The housing is comprised of a mesh material such that air can freely flow through the perimeter wall and into the well. A mouth piece is removably attachable to the first end and is in fluid communication with the housing. A cigarette is positionable in the well such that smoke may be drawn from the cigarette and through the mouth piece wherein ashes from the cigarette are retained within the housing.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedI claim:
1 . A cigarette holder and ash catching assembly comprising:
a housing having a first end, a second end, and a perimeter wall extending between the first and second ends, the first end having a well extending therein, the well extending toward and being spaced from the second end such that the second end forms a closed wall, the well defining a cigarette receiving space, the housing being comprised of a mesh material such that air can freely flow through the perimeter wall and into the well; a mouth piece being removably attachable to the first end and being in fluid communication with the housing; and wherein a cigarette is positionable in the well such that smoke may be drawn from the cigarette and through the mouth piece wherein ashes from the cigarette are retained within the housing.
2 . The cigarette holder and ash catching assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the housing has a length from the first end to the second end between 3.0 inches and 4.5 inches.
3 . The cigarette holder and ash catching assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the housing has a diameter being less than 1.5 inches.
4 . The cigarette holder and ash catching assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the mouth piece includes a receiver end and a mouth end, the receiver end being threadably coupled to a collar attached to the first end.
5 . The cigarette holder and ash catching assembly according to claim 4 , wherein the mouth piece includes a mouth section having a cylindrical shape.
6 . The cigarette holder and ash catching assembly according to claim 5 , wherein the mouth end has a conduit extending therein and being in fluid communication with the well, a portion of the conduit positioned within the mouth section having a smaller diameter than a diameter of the well.
7 . The cigarette holder and ash catching assembly according to claim 6 , wherein the mouth section has a smaller diameter than the diameter of the housing.
8 . The cigarette holder and ash catching assembly according to claim 4 , wherein the mouth section has a smaller diameter than the diameter of the housing.
8 . A cigarette holder and ash catching assembly comprising:
a housing having a first end, a second end and a perimeter wall extending between the first and second ends, the first end having a well extending therein, the well extending toward and being spaced from the second end such that the second end forms a closed wall, the well defining a cigarette receiving space, the housing being comprised of a mesh material such that air can freely flow through the perimeter wall and into the well, the housing having a length from the first end to the second end between 3.0 inches and 4.5 inches, the housing having a diameter being less than 1.5 inches; a mouth piece being removably attachable to the first end, the mouth piece including a receiver end and a mouth end, the receiver end being threadably coupled to a collar attached to the first end such that the mouth end is in fluid communication with the well, the mouth piece including a mouth section having a cylindrical shape, the mouth end having a conduit extending therein and being in fluid communication with the well, a portion of the conduit positioned within the mouth section having a smaller diameter than a diameter of the well, the mouth section having a smaller diameter than the diameter of the housing; and wherein a cigarette is positionable in the well such that smoke may be drawn from the cigarette and through the mouth piece wherein ashes from the cigarette are retained within the housing.Cited by (0)
